Detailed Lesson Plan in Mathematics

I. Intended Learning Outcomes:


At the end of 50 minutes. Students will be able to:
a. Read numbers through 1,000 in symbols and in words;
b. Write numbers through 1,000 in symbols and in words; and
c. Show the ability to read and write numbers in symbols and in words.

1. Opening Prayer

2. Greetings

(The teacher will ask the pupils of the
previous topic discussed)
8. Motivation
⚫ Before we start our lesson, we will have
a game first called “Pick, Match and
win” virtual board game. (the pupils play the game)
Board game.
Instructions:
1. Pick a color pawn which will represent
your group.
2. Each group member will take turn into
answering.
3. Play the dice and say stop to see your
dice number.
4. The pawn will land into a number that
has questions, free pass, 3 jumps and
pause.
5. You must answer the question right or
you will be stuck.
6. Lastly the group winners will be
receiving a reward.

Developmental Activities

⚫ Now class, I will post 2 problems in the
board and I want you to identify the
written numbers in the problem and
write it in symbols.
Problems:
1. Armando collected nine hundred fifty (the pupils will answer the problems)
seashells for his project.
2. Glenda heard from the newscaster that
there are seven hundred forty five voters on
Barangay Sta. Ana and eight hundred sixty
seven voters in Barangay Nabalod.

Jonathan collected almost six hundred seventy-five photocards of his idol. He recently bought
another three hundred forty to add to his collection. Few days after, he realized that he spent a lot of
money so he decided to sell five hundred pieces of his photocards and by that he almost had one
thousand pesos.
