QUESTIONS:

1. What new things did I learn from our session today?

On this lesson I have learned how to differ Action research from other researches. The goal is to
enhance practices, solve problems, and inform decision-making within the immediate context.. ,
also it is initiated by education practitioners themselves and is therefore conducted right in their
own classrooms for specific purposes. Through Action Research, effective solutions to student
problems, such as poor school performance, low motivation, or frequent absenteeism, can be
identified and applied

2. What, if any, are my hesitations in conducting Action Research? What is/are the
reason/s for this/these?

I myself, as a graduate school student is quite hesitant to enrol in Thesis Program due to a lack of
confidence in their research skills or the fear of not being able to carry out the study successfully.
Busy schedules and competing priorities can really make individuals hesitant to commit to the
time and effort required for conducting thorough research. To summarize, balancing personal
and professional commitments, particularly for researchers with family or caregiving
responsibilities, can create hesitation due to concerns about time management. I am still seeking
and looking for more courage as I know that there is no escape from it. Learning is a continuous
process and I need to step up in order to meet the needs of my profession.

3. How would I help myself continue to hone my knowledge and skills in conducting
Action Research?

I think that I need to seek mentorship from experienced researchers who have expertise in Action
Research. Learning from their experiences can provide valuable insights and guidance as you
navigate your own research projects. Collaborate with colleagues or fellow researchers to form a
research group focused on Action Research will also benefit me as I move forward doing my
research. Engaging in group discussions and collaborative projects can provide diverse
perspectives and insights.
