B. Jesus, The Good Shepherd (10 mins)

John 10:1-5
Those who belong to God, recognize the voice of God. This means
we need to stay close to Him and be sensitive enough to be able to
hear His voice. If we do not stay close, we will be in danger of being
lost.
Satan seduces, entices and lures with false promises. God knocks at
the door of your heart and come in when you open your heart.

John 10:9-10
Christ came to the world to die on the cross to bring salvation to the
world.

John 10:11-13
Christ is the good shepherd and he is willing to die for his sheep.
Compared to the hired hand who cares only for himself, Christ cares
totally for his sheep. The result of the hired hand is that sheep are
attacked by wolf (Satan) and scatter (lost).

John 10:14–16
God desire to have an intimate fellowship with us, where we can
know him and He will know us. And there are many who need to be
in the shepherd’s pen – the Good Shepherd will go out to bring them
in.

John 10:17- 18
Jesus is predicting here of His resurrection.

Note: in the above passage, try to contextualize how each of us can

be a good shepherd and exemplify the qualities mentioned by Jesus.
Make the passage applicable to present context of the cell and our
walk with God.

III. Conclusion (10 mins)

Go through the 3 questions. Give time for members to voice their

opinions and share.

If group is big and people are not so forthright in sharing, you may
do neighbour-nudging (share with neighbour first) or share in group
of 3s before sharing together as a group.
