J yoti Kanwar,
a postgraduate in sociology and a
single mother of a young girl,
embarked on a transformative
journey with Piramal Foundation's
Karuna Fellowship in April 2022.
Through the Fellowship's
empowering learning journey, she
gained confidence, financial and
mental support and honed her skills
in computer applications. During
the fellowship, she contributed to the finance department while furthering her education. Ten months
after completion of the fellowship, she joined Piramal Finance, Sikar branch as a trainee. Soon, Jyoti
excelled in operations, became the Best Performer Pan India PFSS. In the month of August last year she
received the Shining-Star Certificate for Best Performance. She is now emerging as an operations
executive and is grateful for the supportive work environment at Piramal Finance.

GAINS IN DIGITAL HEALTH INTO TRANSFORMATIVE PUBLIC HEALTH IMPACT"

Khushi Baby is an organization focusing on


maternal and child care. It uses a digital
platform to ensure that mothers and children
receive timely and appropriate health care
services. Khushi Baby is now serving as the nodal
Technical Support Partner to the Department of
Health and Family Welfare, Government of
Rajasthan.
Mansi Jangir and Priyanka Katewa, two Alumni’s of Sathiya shared service, joined Khushi Baby in Jaipur
in Oct,2023. Both of them recently attended a summit on "Converting Gains in Digital Health into
Transformative Public Health Impact," at ITC Sheraton, New Delhi. The summit brought together
experts from various sectors to discuss how digital health technologies can be used to improve public
health outcomes. Their contribution in the summit is just one example of their commitment to
improving public health. They passionately advocate for use of technology in health and believe that it
has the potential to revolutionize the way healthcare is delivered.

KARUNA FELLOWSHIP'S BOOT CAMP IN JAIPUR

For the first time, Karuna Fellowship organized a large-scale centralized boot camp from November
29 to December 1, 2023, in the pink city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. 200 Karuna Fellows from three Big
Bets and one shared service actively participated in this impactful event.
The Bootcamp was designed to promote self-reflection, Sangha building, and the consolidation of
their journey, fostering holistic learning through interactive sessions and activities. The
culmination of the camp featured a lively cultural event named ZAMBURI.
