This report derives from the line graph which illustrates the consumption of chicken, beef, lamb and

fish
in European country between the year 1974 and 2004. The line graph plotted in a way that X axis
represents the years and the Y axis shows in terms of grams per person per week given along with x axis.

As it is observed, chicken had gradually increased throughout the period, from 1979 to 2004. Not only
this point is clear, the consumption of lamb and beef shoes a downward trend during the given time
period.

It can be clearly observed that, in the year 1979, beef eaten was highest, with the 220 grams per person
per week, followed by the year 1984, it gradually decreased to 170 grams per week and skyrocketed
above 240 grams in 1989. Hence, it dropped significantly and reached at the the end of 110 grams by
2004. Nevertheless, chicken has become quite popular throughout the given period. It starts with 150
grams and fallen down in 1989, and again rapidly shot up at the end of the year at 250 grams.

On a specific note of analysis, the amount of lamb eaten every week also went into downward tendency,
dropping from in 1979 at 150 grams and fluctuated till 2004 at roughly 75 grams. On a final note of
comparison, the number of fish eaten started at over 50 grams, then drop gradually for the next five
years and remand constant during the given time period respectively
