people are known for being friendly and hospitable.

The culture of Vietnam is heavily influenced by Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, and is
characterized by a strong emphasis on family, respect for elders, and a deep reverence for tradition. The
most important holiday in Vietnam is Tet, the Lunar New Year, which falls in late January or early
February. Tet is a time for families to celebrate, exchange gifts, and enjoy traditional foods.

Vietnam celebrates other holidays too, such as Independence Day and National Day. The capital of
Vietnam is Ha Noi.
