1. Find the optimal value of the following LP problem using simplex method

2. Jane works in two different companies A and B on part time basis. She does not want to
work more than 12 hours in one week. For every hour she works she needs 2 hours and
an hour for preparation in company A and B respectively but cannot exceed 16 hours for
preparation. If Jane makes $40 and $30 an hour in company A and B respectively,
develop an LP problem then use simplex method to determine how many hours Jane
should work per week to maximize her income.
