Classroom management or meeting the needs of students can be one of the crucial parts of teaching-learning process.
However, it is the key component in any educational setting. If students are safe in a learning environment, then teaching-
learning process can take place. This activity focuses on creating a classroom routine that will make teachers and students
more productive. As a pre-service teacher, you should be committed in making classroom a safe and challenging environment,
engaging your students through the curriculum, as well as getting to know them and interacting with each other. You should
develop a democratic and equitable learning environment so that students can learn effectively.

Mrs. Bency’s response to our

question about classroom design
was that she wants her
Classroom Design
classroom to be neat, clean, and
accessible for the learners.

Mrs. Bency was asked a question about

the rules and discipline in her classroom,
Rules and Discipline and she said the students should know
how to maintain the cleanliness in the
classroom, should listen when someone
is talking, and should give respect to
each other.

Mrs.Bency asked about the

scheduling and organization, and
she said this depends on the activity Scheduling and
or projects that need to be Organization
completed. She gave a project that
can be accomplished in 4 days or 1

Mrs. Bency talked about her

instructional techniques in her class,
and she said that you need to first
know the strengths and weaknesses
Instructional Techniques
of your students so you can deliver
your lesson fairly by using strategies
that everyone can understand and no
one can leave behind.

Mrs. Bency asked about her

communication skills in her class, and she
answered that when you communicate
with your students, you should sound
friendly or give them a comfortable way of Communication
approaching them so they will not be
afraid to ask you if they need help with
their academics or in any circumstances
because, remember, we are not just
teachers here; we are also called the
second parents of our students.

1. Based on the result/data of your interview, are you going to apply or adapt those best practices? Justify your answer.

Yes, I will put all that I learned and gathered during our interview to use. Every piece of knowledge I've acquired is
crucial and will aid me in running a classroom. Utilizing a classroom is a difficult task. Knowing the fundamentals is therefore
important. I am confident that the knowledge I have acquired will enable me to design a classroom that is both secure and
supportive of learning. Additionally, all of these things will support me in efficiently and effectively running my classroom.

2. Is there a meaningful effect of a well-planned classroom management in achieving a productive study environment?
Substantiate your answer by providing evidence.
In this approach, the teacher respects the opinions of the students, particularly when it comes to their
suggestions for enhancing the classroom setting. Thus, it is suggested that creating a conducive learning environment
involves finding a balance between control and involvement. We can see from their classroom management how
important it is to develop a participation philosophy and a control pedagogy in order to help students develop the
necessary knowledge and skills. Using well-thought-out strategies and pertinent concepts in the classroom is ultimately
crucial to maintaining that students can achieve their academic development.

1. What is the set of ideals, values, beliefs, and goals on learning management plan?

A broad collection of concepts, aims, convictions, and objectives that carefully assess and honor the distinct
requirements of every student and involved stakeholder is essential for the creation of a learning management plan.
Establishing a suitable, efficient, and stimulating learning environment involves recognizing and fulfilling these demands.
In this situation, the learning management system turns into a tool that helps students realize their full potential by
enabling a comprehensive learning experience.

2. What criteria and/or standards will you set to judge the quality of the classroom learning environment?

Here are some standards that I will use to evaluate the quality of the classroom learning environment:
Communication: in addition to language, we should offer a medium through which people can engage and quickly
spread the word. We should also take note of word choices, speaking tones, and the appropriate manner of using a
particular language.
Teaching and Instructional Tools: Taking into account the multiple abilities we should always select the best
teaching tool so that everyone can learn, whether before or after the pandemic. To guarantee that the lesson is
engaging and relevant, we should also confirm that the teaching aid we intend to employ is related to our subject.
Rules and Guidelines: In accordance with the institution's policies and guidelines, we should also develop with our
own rules.
Integration of Values: A student's affective and cognitive development should be equally prioritized.

FIELD STUDY 2

How will you design your classroom to create an appropriate and effective learning environment? Illustrate and justify your design.

My ideal classroom would probably look something like the pictures shown above if I were to design it. I'm thinking about
DepEd Order No. 64, s. According to the 2017 Minimum Performance Standards and Specifications (MPSS) for DepEd School Buildings, there
should be adequate room for the students, and it is important to maintain a clean, well-ventilated classroom to guarantee the students' comfort
and safety throughout the discussion. Regarding that, my classroom and the school building have to adhere to the R.A. No. 9514, sometimes
referred to as the Philippine Fire Code. Books, magazines, infographics, bulletin boards, and other educational materials will also be made
available to the students. It is their responsibility to learn more, read in their free time, and spread the word about it easily..

1. What classroom rules and procedures will you formulate to ensure discipline and order in your class? How will you
ensure safety and security of your students?

By involving students directly in the creation of regulations, this process gives them more responsibility and
encourages them to talk among themselves about appropriate behavior. Give students the opportunity to practice what they
have learned and the drills they have completed, and make sure their learning environment is as safe as possible.

2. What strategies will you employ for rewards and consequences?

The advantages and disadvantages have a significant influence on each student's learning and development. It was
clearly used in many learning environments to boost students' interest and motivation in a given subject in order to achieve
well in class. Regarding this, if I were to use rewards as a teaching strategy, I would use grade incentives, "plus points," and
other extrinsic rewards to motivate students to meet their learning objectives and experience optimal learning—even when no
one is observing their progress.
