INSTRUCTIONS AFTER HAIR TRANSPLANTATION

A. MEDICATION

1. Tab Pantoprazole (40 mg) 1 tab once daily (half an hour before breakfast) for ....... days

2. Tab Flexon 1 tab twice daily (after lunch and dinner) for ..... days

3. Tab / Cap Cefadroxil (500 mg) 1 tab/cap twice daily (after lunch and dinner) for ...... days

4. Cap Pregabalin (75 mg) 1 cap once daily (after dinner) for ........days.

5. Tab Levocetrizine (5 mg) 1 tab when required (if implanted are feels itchy)

B. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS and PRECAUTIONS

1. Remove the bandage next day of procedure. Wet the dressing pad adequately before removing

it. Mild burning sensation for few minutes is expected after removing bandage.

2. Wash normally with soap/shampoo and tap water (preferably warm) daily and wipe with a clean

towel after washing.

3. Apply Mupirocin ointment twice daily for 3 days.

4. Apply Vaseline lotion/coconut oil frequently (3-4 times) to avoid dryness

Implanted area (Area where grafts are planted)

1. Do not touch or let it touch with anything for 1-2 days. Sleep on the non-implanted side (on your
back or as instructed by the doctor) for 1 week to avoid crushing of the implanted hair grafts with
the pillow. Do not wear cap while sleeping.

and then at least 2 hourly for next 4 days.

3. On 3rd day, gently spread thin layer of shampoo and leave for 3-5 minutes. Then rinse with
room temperature water. Do not rub the implanted area. Repeat this daily while taking bath.

4. After 3 days, gently apply thin layer of coconut oil or Vaseline lotion 2-3 times a day. Avoid
rubbing or massaging the implanted area.
 5. Please wear clean protective cap when going outside for next 1 week. You can wear a loose

fi t t i n g l i g h t c a p o r h a t a f t e r 1 - 2 d a y s .

6. Review after 1 week. First normal wash will be performed in the visit. If you cannot visit the

clinic for follow up, kindly email / whatsapp / viber your pictures. We will instruct you about

fi r s t n o r m a l w a s h a f t e r s e e i n g y o u r p i c t u r e s .

C. GENERAL REMARKS
