ABOUT US

We are siblings and have started Mnemonics Daddy

with a vision of making learning fun, exciting, and
joyful through Mnemonics. Our mission is to make
mnemonics for every discipline with a primary focus
on UPSC and other competitive examinations.

In line with Mahatma Gandhiji's vision of

Sarvodaya, we intend to keep much of this project
as a free resource available to all aspirants. The
updates on this are available on the Mnemonics
Daddy Telegram channel. Updated versions of all
materials are available on Amazon’s Kindle.

@mnemonicsdaddy
Foreword

This is not a study material for Polity. This is

merely a free supplementary resource that
helps you to remember things easily. We have
taken Indian Polity by Laxmikanth (widely read
by the aspirants) as the frame of reference
for creating a skeletal structure for Polity
Mnemonics. This also includes a few extra
mnemonics that are important for the exam
and related to the chapter. Therefore, some
mnemonics may not be present in the
respective chapter of the reference material.
We have also included certain trivial things
that could be usually asked in State PSC
exams

@chaitanya.ips

@mnemonicsdaddy
Dear Aspirant

We would like to improve this work

further. We need your suggestions for
enhancing the mnemonics. If you feel
any Mnemonic can be improved
further or want to make a mnemonic
suggestion or want to suggest
anything to maximize the utility of this
project to the aspirants, I request you
to message me personally on either
Instagram, Twitter, or LinkedIn handles.
I would love to hear from you.

Comparision between Indian Vice-President &
American Vice-President

[V.Imp for Prelims]

Yeah!! I can be
President of USA if the
office falls vacant and
can remain President
for the unexpired term
of my predecessor

American Vice-President succeeds to the presidency when it

falls vacant, and remains President for the unexpired term
of his predecessor. The Indian Vice-President, on the other
hand, does not assume the office of the President when it
falls vacant for the unexpired term. He merely serves as an
acting President until the new President assumes charge

Though the President of India is not a member of
either House of Parliament and doesn’t sit in the
Parliament to att end its meeti ngs, he is an integral
part of Parliament. This is because she is an ASP

Assent SODA Parliamentary
Functions form

(SODA full form

A - She gives Assent to the Bill

S - Performs SODA/DOSA Functions
P - Parliamentary form of government

Emphasizes the interdependence between legislative

and executive organs = President-in-Parliament (Just
like Britain’s Crown-in-Parliament). American President
is not an integral part of the legislature •
