Rise of Nation
(राष्ट्र – राज्यो का उदय)
# राष्ट्र राज्य की अवधारणा को समझने के लिए आदर्श रूप में
राष्ट्र एवम राज्य दोनों के मध्य भेद को जानना जरूरी है ।
To Understand the concept of Nation State,
Ideally it is important to know the basic
difference between nation and state.

# राष्ट्र र्ब्द जजसका प्रयोग बहुधा राज्य के स्थान पर भी कर

लिया जाता है । एक ऐसा र्ब्द है, जजसके साांस्कृततक
तनहहताथश है । इसका सम्बन्ध जनता के उस समह ू से होता है ,
जो एकात्मकता एवां आपसी मूल्यो की भावना से सांगहतत होते
है।
The word nation is often used in place of state
is a word that has cultural implications. It is
related to that group of people who are
organized with a sense of unity and mutual
values.
# इसे राजनीतत ववर्ेषज्ञ ‘ कजल्पत समद
ु ाय’ की सांज्ञा
दे ते है ।
Political experts call it an imagined
community.

# यह समह ू कुछ साांस्कृततक कारकों पर आधाररत

होता है , जैसे – समान इततहास, समान भाषा , समान
धमश, समानसजातीयता एवां समान प्रथाएां आहद।
This group is based on some cultural
factors, like similar history, similar
language, similar religion, similar
ethnicity and similar customer etc.

ू री ओर “राज्य” र्ब्द का सम्बन्ध राजनीततक
ववचार और काननू ी सत्ता दोनों से होता है ।
On the other hand, the word state is
related to both political thought and legal
authority.

में आधतु नक राज्य के राजनीततक सार का वणशन ककया

Niccolo Machiavelli was probably the first
political thinker to describe the political
essence of the modern state in his work
‘The Prince’.

Under International Law , a modern state is
based on the following four characteristics.
(1) Permanent population
(2) Fixed Territory
(3) Organized Government
(4) Sovereignty
