Description of a place

A very beautiful and interesting place that i like is Galeana. It’s a municipality in the
state of Nuevo Leon and is the largest in land area in the state. It’s located north of
N.L.

Near the municipal head is the Laguna de Labradores, the sinkhole known as "El
Pozo del Gavilan", the "Cerro del Potosi" highest peak in the state with more than
3,700 meters above sea level, and the geological formation known as "El Puente
de Dios", which is a natural arch 15 meters high and 30 width formed by the action
of water.

The native of this city, statue of Mariano Escobedo is its main historical monument;
between architectural highlights the Church of San Pablo Apóstol, building dating
from the XVIII century.

As the main event each year the fair of San Pablo Apóstol, patron of the city, with
processions and fireworks on 15 to 20 January is celebrated, concluding with
regional fair. Fair Potato and Apple takes place from 15 to 20 August.

The journey on foot or horseback to the top of the "Cerro del Potosi" from San
Franscisco town is very interesting, and flatters winter snows capes in sight and
the Laguna de Labradores where you can rent boats and fishing.
