international short video product as the carrier. It is committed to becoming the first choice for
users to discover and purchase good products with affordable prices. Global e-commerce
business team hopes to provide users with more tailored, active and efficient consumption
experience, enabling merchants to receive stable and reliable platform services in different
scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more
affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.
Monetization Technology (Mountain View/Seattle/LA) teams are building the next-
generation monetization platforms to help millions of customers grow their businesses, utilizing
our products like TikTok. Our team develops a wide variety of advertisements for numerous uses
including feeds, live streaming, branding, measurement, targeting, vertical solutions, creative
solutions, and business integrity.
Global Payments (Mountain View) team is building a platform to provide cross-border
payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, such as TikTok, Helo, Games,
Education, etc. The Payment Solutions team focuses on solving the problems of collaboration
efficiency and service satisfaction due to time zone differences, language, etc. Through an in-
depth understanding of business characteristics and implementation processes, proactively and
regularly dig out customer technical pain points and demands, create PIPO-specific and globally
consistent products and solutions, reduce customer understanding and access costs, and improve
user experience.

What to expect?
The interview process will normally take between 2-4 weeks (if you have an urgent deadline,
please kindly let us know so we could help to expedite the process)! Depending on the team you
interviewed, you may expect 3-4 rounds and each round is about an hour. Interviews will be
conducted via HackerRank or Zoom. Your recruiting coordinator will share more details about
the interview process when we help you to schedule.
