When you crochet in spiral
there will be a seam in the last
row (Image 16). You can finish
crocheting the detail with a slip
stitch (Sl), but in this case the
seam will be a little bit prominent
(Image 17). To make the edge
look rounder, go to the next page.

Put the end of yarn into the needle, skip one stitch and
guide the yarn into the next stitch as shown on the
photo (Image 19).
Insert the needle back in the same hole where the yarn
comes from (Image 20).

6. Assembly
To prepare for sewing the cap on the
stipe, first you need to embroider
a 'back-stitched' seam around the
circumference, using green yarn. The
cap should be placed at an angle. To
do so, the seam must first follow the
top row (Image 24), then it must go
down on both sides (Image 25 and
26) and finally, on the back side, it
must sit a few rows lower than the top
row (Image 27).

6.1 Assembly
To help you embroider the seam, place 2 main
pins so that 11 stitches are situated in between
them. Make sure that the place where you stopped
crocheting the stipe (with the end of yarn still
hanging) is facing on the opposite side. (Image 28).
Step out 4 stitches from each main pin and move
1 row below. Mark these places with pins. Then
step out 4 more stitches and move 1 row below
again. Mark these places with pins too (Images Image 28
29 and 30). From one of the sides (right side of
the stipe) step out 2 more stitches and move 1
row below (Image 30). Now if you imagine a line
connecting the pins, you can see clearly where the
seam is to be embroidered. Connect green yarn
and embroider this contour with a "back stitch"
seam. When you are done, fasten the yarn on the
back side of stipe (Image 34). Stuff detail with
stuffing material.

6.2 Assembly
Put the cap onto the stipe so that
their ends of crocheting are pressed
against each other and fasten them
with pins (Image 36). Sew the cap to
the stipe with the end of green yarn
that we left before, using the seam
that we made in the previous chapter
as a guide (Images 37 and 38). When
you are done, fasten and cut the
yarn, hiding the end inside the detail
(Images 40 and 41).

6.3 Assembly
Place a spot to the top center of the cap and fasten it with pins (Image
42). Find the center of the face (where the connection stitches are
situated on the top row of the stipe) and place the second spot on the
center of the cap, right above the center of the face (Image 43). Place
the third spot in front of the second one, but on the back side (Image
44). Place the last two spots on the sides, in front of each other (Image
45). All spots must be fastened with pins. Sew them with the ends of
white yarn that we left before (Images 46 and 47). When you finish
sewing each detail, fasten and hide the end of yarn inside the cap.
6.4 Assembly
Embroider the eyes with black yarn,
orienting by the center of face.
Embroider sparkles, making a few
stitches with white yarn on the edge
of both eyes. All ends of yarn must be
fastened and hidden inside the stipe.
