IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1. Candidates should occupy their seats allotted in the exam venue 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the examination.
2. Candidates will not be admitted after 30 minutes of the scheduled start of the examination and will not be allowed to leave the exam hall till the end of the
examination.
3. Candidates should bring ball-point pen (blue or black colour ink only) for the examination. Candidates are also allowed to bring a plain cardboard/clipbord.
Calculator,Log Tables,Electronic Communication devices in any form,Pencil,Eraser etc. will not be allowed.
4. The Admit Card should be presented for verification at the Examination Centre.
5. Candidates are under the disciplinary control of the Chief Superintendent of the Venue. Any candidate, if found guilty of improper conduct during the
examination will be disqualified and liable for punishment as per Clause 10 of the Prospectus.
6. Candidates should ensure that the Version Code printed in the Admit Card and Question Booklet are the same, after receiving the Question Booklet in the
examination hall.
7. In OMR Answer sheet, candidates should write the Version code in the column provided and darken the bubble corresponding to the Question Booklet
Version code.
8. In OMR Answer sheet, Version code, Roll number, Question booklet Sl.No, Name of candidate and Name of subject should be filled and sign compulsory.
9. At the end of the examination, candidates should hand over the OMR answer sheet to the Invigilator. The Invigilator will separate the Answer Sheet along
the perforation in the presence of the candidate.
10. Candidates should follow the Health protocols issued by the Health Department of the State. Candidate should wear mask and keep sanitizer handy as
per Covid-19 protocol.
11. Candidates who are quarantined or covid positive on the date of Exam should contact the CEE Representative concerned, atleast one day before the

Guidelines issued in the background of Covid 19

All safety and security directions issued by the Government for the control of Covid 19 pandemic will be applicable to this examination
too. All candidates/parents/Officials are bound to follow the directions issued by the Govt. and Health Dpt. for the control of Covid -19
very carefully.

1. Candidates appearing for the examination should follow strict social distancing norms, wear masks properly and undergo
mandatory thermal scanning at the venue.
2. Those who report with physical discomforts due to illness or show higher body temperatures at the venue are supposed to
appear for the examination by adhering to the special safety instructions of the Official concerned.
3. Candidates must carry essential items such as drinking water, food and pen for the examination and should not exchange these
under any circumstances.
4. Inside the examination hall candidates have to strictly follow instructions of the invigilator.
5. During interval time candidates should not crowd or socialize with other candidates. They should strictly observe social
distancing norms.
6. Candidates must occupy their allotted seats inside the examination hall and should follow social distancing norms. Unnecessary
movements inside the hall is prohibited.
7. Reporting of candidates at the scheduled time for examination as shown in the admit card is mandatory. Early reporting at the
venue and crowding are strictly prohibited.
8. Those candidates appearing for forenoon and afternoon sessions of examination should carry food and drinking water. Under no
circumstances candidates will be permitted to go outside the venue during interval time.
9. The contact information of the CEE Representative of each venue is provided in the admit card issued to candidates. For those
requiring assistance can contact the CEE representatives.
10. Those under quarantine/candidates with symptoms of illness/those who’re Covid positive should contact the CEE
Representative in the phone number given in the admit card on the previous day itself, inform the matter and also obtain
instructions for reaching the venue. Such candidates and their parents should reach the venue only in vehicles specially
arranged by them, keep distance from other candidates and enter the specially arranged examination room following strict safety
protocols. Parents should leave the examination venue immediately after dropping these candidates and also reach back after
the examination as per instructions by the CEE Representative of the venue.
11. Those candidates who report with physical discomforts due to illness on the day of the examination or show high body
temperature will have to follow the directions of the volunteers and reach specially arranged room keeping distance from other
candidates.
12. Candidates leaving the venue after examination should not assemble near the premises of the venue or nearby bus stands.
They should leave the venue strictly according to the time schedule given by the school authorities.
13. Used masks and gloves should not be thrown carelessly. They should be deposited in the places provided for the purpose.
Spare masks should be carried to cover the entire duration of the examination.

Directions for parents of candidates

1. Parents should not enter the examination venue.


2. Parents should ensure that candidates follow all safety protocols. Also, they should ensure that candidates are carrying items
such as pen, water, food, masks and sanitizer.
3. After dropping candidates in front of the venue, parents should immediately leave the premises and avoid traffic hindrance.
4. Under no circumstances parents are allowed to crowd in front of the venue or park their vehicles blocking smooth traffic. This
has to be strictly followed. Crowding in front of gate violating social distance norms is punishable.
5. Candidates coming out of the venue after examination should be picked up from a safe place away from the gate of the venue.
