Introduction:

Good morning, I am Rishu Garg, and I recently completed my summer internship at Bajaj Capital Limited,
a renowned company in the financial services industry. During my two-month internship from May to
July, I had the opportunity to work on three exciting projects.

Bajaj Capital's core business revolves around offering financial advisory and investment solutions to
clients. The company also distributes various financial and investment products such as mutual funds,
life, health and general insurance, fixed deposits, Initial Public offerings, etc.

The company assigned three projects

1st project is selling and promoting of total well-being website called p-nut. The website is designed to
provide customized diet plans to address various diseases, such as thyroid disorders, high blood
pressure, and lifestyle-related ailments.this website provides personalized diet plan which is best suited
for you body type.

The second project focused on promoting and selling mutual funds. Mutual funds are a popular
investment vehicle that offers diversification and professional management. Bajaj Capital has tie-ups
with reputed mutual fund companies, including Axis, HDFC, ICICI Prudential, Kotak Mahindra, Nippon
India, SBI, and Mirae Asset, among others.

The third project is promoting the IDWM course, Integrated Diploma in Wealth Management. This
course provides comprehensive knowledge in finance, financial planning, investments, and wealth
management, along with internship and job placement opportunities

Achievements:

I Have contacted to various influencers and gym trainers to promote personal nutrition website

Many people are not familiar with mutual funds or may have misconceptions. I Educate people using
social media platforms about the benefits of mutual funds, compared to traditional savings instruments
and I also make my family and friends aware about this tool.

KYC (Know Your Customer): Guide family, friends, and prospects through the KYC process, emphasizing
its importance. Assist them in gathering the necessary documents, such as identity proof, address proof,
and PAN cards, to complete the KYC requirements seamlessly.

Onboarding clients by Creating Online Accounts: Direct family, friends, and prospects to
onlinemf.bajajcapital.com, where they can create their online accounts. Provide support and guidance
during the account creation process to ensure a smooth experience for them.

Setting Up e-Mandate: Explain the concept of e-mandate, which allows for automatic monthly
investments through SIP.
Investing in SIP: Assist family, friends, and prospects in selecting suitable mutual funds based on their
investment goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon. Guide them in making informed investment decisions
and help them initiate SIP investments through Bajaj Capital's online platform.

In the WPL mission, we have to onboard five clients with a minimum amount to be invested is Rs 1000. I
brought 8 clients to the company with total amount of 8000.

For the promotion of IDWM I contacted undergraduate students on linkedin and also mails to the
colleges who offer packages less than 5 lakh

Lessons:

Understanding of Bajaj Capital's operations: Through my internship, I gained a comprehensive

understanding of Bajaj Capital's products and services, as well as its digital platform. As well as get
Knowledge of financial products. I gained insights into their features and benefits.

Communication skills development:. I learned to effectively communicate the benefits of mutual fund
investments, addressing their concerns and objections, and presenting investment recommendations in
a clear and persuasive manner.

Convincing clients to invest: One of the key responsibilities during my internship was to convince
individuals to invest in mutual funds. This involved showcasing the advantages of mutual funds over
traditional investment options.

Challenges:

One of the major challenge was addressing clients' trust issues regarding the security of their documents
during the onboarding process. To overcome this, I emphasized Bajaj Capital's robust security measures
and transparency in handling sensitive information.

Overall, my internship at Bajaj Capital Limited provided me with a comprehensive learning experience,
combining practical knowledge with a deeper understanding of the financial services industry. The skills
and insights gained during this internship will undoubtedly contribute to my professional growth
