Physical Survey Summary

Summary;

The Datum aircraft were surveyed on _________________________ in _____________________________________


The survey consisted of a general visual walkaround of the exterior and interior and any compartments that were
available during the scheduled turn around.

This report was created to express key concerns that may de-value aircraft and subsequently cause concerns and
delays. The key issues will be described below and followed by pictures in the proceeding pages. Additional data will be
attached to the end of this report.

Aircraft Fuselage:

➢ The fuselage appeared to be in fair to good condition. The Ac does not appear to abused or show signs of
improper maintenance.
➢ Several external structure repairs were notice on the fuselage and appeared to be repaired as per industry
standards. A records review or compliance data will need to be accomplished to validate repairs.
➢ Ac was relatively clean with fuselage paint in fair condition. Lower and upper wings paint was also found to be in
fair condition.
➢ Composite wing to body fairings show signs of cracking paint that will continue to deteriorate. I recommend this
issue be raised so that it can be properly corrected.

Engines and nacelles, Left engine ESN _______________________ and Right engine ESN ________________________

➢ Left hand engine fan blades appeared to be in survivable condition, no signs of dents nicks or tears were notice.
➢ Left hand nose cowl had several small repairs to the acoustic liner but overall appear to be in fair condition.
➢ The Left hand cowling doors and reverser sections appears to have cracks within the paint. This will continue to
deteriorate and this issue should be raised.

➢ The left exhaust nozzle showed several signs of dents and creases both on the exterior and interior. These
defects will need to be evaluated specifically the interior dents and creases as they are not normal and may be
caused by improper method of installing onto the engine.
➢ Right hand engine fan blades appeared to be in survivable condition, no signs of dents nicks or tears were
notice.
➢ Right hand nose cowl had several small repairs to the acoustic liner but overall appear to be in fair condition.
➢ The Right hand cowling doors and reverser sections appears to have cracks within the paint. This will continue to
deteriorate and this issue should be raised.
➢ The Right exhaust nozzle also showed several signs of dents and creases both on the exterior and interior. These
defects will need to be evaluated specifically the interior dents and creases as they are not normal and may be
caused by improper method of installing onto the engine

APU:

➢ The APU was operated with both ACM’s, electrical and hydraulics. All parameters appeared normal.
➢ The APU or compartment was not visible during this survey.

Flight Controls:

➢ The flight control appears to be in fair condition. No signs of delamination were noted.
➢ Several composite repairs were notice, a review of compliance paperwork will need to be accomplished.
➢ Left lower wing has areas where paint is deteriorated and cracking on composite areas.

Landing gear, wheels and brakes:

➢ All landing gears appear to be clean with no visible signs of damage. The serial numbers match with the aircraft
spec sheet.
➢ All wheels and tires have more than half life left an appear to be in serviceable condition.
Continued-
➢ All brakes have half-life or more left and appear to be in serviceable condition.

Compartments: ACM, Stabilizer and cargo.

➢ Both lower cargos compartments were in fair condition.


➢ A PDU cargo loading system is installed in the forward and Aft sections.
➢ ACM and Stabilizer compartments were not accessed during this survey.

Cockpit:

➢ All equipment appeared to be functional during the inspection.


➢ Cockpit appeared to be in fair condition, no signs of abuse were noted.
➢ A EFB system is installed for both the captain and first officer.
➢ Cockpit windows appeared to be in good condition.

Cabin, galleys and seats:

➢ The economy and business class seats appear to be in fair condition with serviceable covers. All seats and
coverings are in fair condition.
➢ Seats don’t appear to be abused of have many repairs.

➢ There is no in-seat IFE system installed.
➢ Tablets are given to Business class passages. This system is separate from the Ac.
➢ Overhead bins are in fair condition with normal wear.
➢ There is a crew rest station midway that is curtained off. Business class seats are installed in this section.
➢ Galleys are in fair condition.
➢ Lavatories appear to be in fair condition with no signs of abuse noted.
➢ There is one disability laboratory installed mid-way thru the cabin.
➢ PCU’s and side wall panels appear to be in fair condition.
➢ Cabin carpet and moon mats are in fair condition.
➢ Emergency equipment’s appear to be in serviceable condition.
➢ This ac is equipped with a portable and fixed ELT system.
