My journey into the world of banking and finance was more than just an

academic pursuit; it was also a stepping stone to a better understanding of

the connection of economic systems and societal development. However,
as my studies progressed, I became more attached to civil engineering—a
discipline that represents an attitude of discovery and tangible impact.
Despite the perceived disparity between banking and engineering, I believe
that my finance background provides me with a unique perspective that
complements the technical aspects of civil engineering. I can use my
financial knowledge to help with project feasibility assessments, budget
management, and resource allocation—all of which are critical components
of successful engineering projects.

As I transition from banking to civil engineering, I am aware of the

challenges that are into the future. However, I am driven by a strong sense
of purpose and a desire to make a positive difference in the world. My
academic background in banking and finance has given me a strong
analytical mindset and a talent for problem solving—qualities that are
essential in the field of engineering. Also, my passion for sustainable
development and community engagement is perfectly aligned with the civil
engineering principles, which views every project as an opportunity to
improve the quality of life for people all over the world.

Finally, my journey from banking to civil engineering demonstrates the

importance of pursuing one's dreams with unwavering determination. While
the transition will be difficult, I am confident that my background in banking
and finance will help me advance in my career as a civil engineer. Through
multifaceted collaboration and a dedication to excellence, I hope to
contribute to innovative solutions that address societal needs and advance
sustainable development. Let us embark on a journey of discovery and
transformation, where dreams have no boundaries. Thank you.
