Guidelines

 All permits are to be authorized by the Master before commencement of work

 Checks are carried out by the officer in charge of the place the work will be done, the chief engineer or chief officer.
 The competent person for the work endorses the permit. After signing, the permit shall be retained by the person in
charge of the space where the work is being carried out, until the work is complete, and the clearance section signed.
