Government have provided reservations to the certain Socially and Educationally Backward Classes of Muslims under BC-E category. In the reference 2" letter. the Director of BC welfare Department clarification was given that there is no bar to issue BC-E caste certificates to the Muslims for possessing, surnames of “MOHAMMAD” and “ABDUL” in G.0.Ms.No.23. Backward Classes Welfare (C2) Department, Dated 07-07-2007 which has provided reservations to the certain socially and educationally backward communities of Muslims under BC-E category. te of clear Commission observed that, in s n from the BC Welfare Department certain Mandal Revenue Officer/Revenue authorities in the State are denying Caste Certificates to the Muslims possessing of surnames like “Mohammad” and * as a result the eligible candidate facing lot of inconvenience and hardship.
