CHAPTER – 3
COLLECTION OF DATA

20
3.1 DATA COLLECTION

Data collected is useful only after analysis. Data Analysis involves

converting a series of recorded observations into descriptive statements
and inferences about relationships. The types of analysis that can be
conducted depend on the nature of the measurement instrument and the
data collected method.

If the researcher selects the analytical techniques prior to collecting data,

the researcher should generate fictional responses to the measurement
instrument, these dummy data are then analyzed the results of this
analysis will provide the information required by the problem at hand.

Questionnaire is made based on some variable that have directly or

indirectly influence on the customer satisfaction level

3.2 DATA SOURCE

Research included gathering both Primary and Secondary data. Primary

data is the first hand data, which are selected a fresh and thus happen to
be original in character.

Secondary data are those which has been collected by someone else and
which already have been passed through statistical process.

21
The data source in a feedback for content study project is the source
from where we collect feedback on our content. This could be from a
variety of sources, such as:

• Surveys: We can create a survey and send it to our target audience

to collect their feedback on our content.
• Interviews: We can interview your target audience to get their
feedback on our content.
• Focus groups: We can conduct a focus group with our target
audience to discuss their feedback on our content.
• Social media: We can monitor social media to see what people are
saying about our content.
• Customer support tickets: We can review customer support tickets
to see what feedback people are providing about our content.

Fig no. 3.1

22
The focus of this report will be on the Data Collection process, Once we
have collected feedback from our target audience, we can use it to
improve our content.

It is important to consider who our target audience is and how we

can reach them. It is also important to choose a data source that
will provide with the type of feedback we need.

3.3 QUESTIONNAIRE DESIGN

Questionnaire design is the process of creating a structured set of

questions to gather information or data from respondents. To design an
effective questionnaire, you should:

• Set Objectives: Clearly define your research goals and what

information you need to collect.
• Know Your Audience: Understand the characteristics and
demographics of your target respondents.
• Choose Question Types: Decide on the types of questions, such as
closed-ended (multiple choice) and open-ended (free-text)
questions.
• Structure Questions: Word questions clearly, neutrally, and without
bias, avoiding double-barreled questions.
• Organize Flow: Arrange questions logically and use a funnel
approach, moving from general to specific.

23
• Test and Revise: Pilot test the questionnaire and make necessary
revisions based on feedback
• Consider Length: Keep the questionnaire concise to prevent
respondent fatigue.
• Provide Instructions: Include clear instructions for completing the
questionnaire.
• Design and Layout: Create a clean and readable format, considering
device accessibility for online surveys.

3.4 DATA COMPLETION AND ANALYSIS

Data completion and analysis is the process of ensuring that a dataset is

complete and accurate, and then using that dataset to gain insights.

Data completion is the process of filling in any missing values in a

dataset. This can be done manually, or by using statistical methods to
impute the missing values.

Data analysis is the process of using data to answer questions and gain
insights. This can be done using a variety of statistical and machine
learning methods.

Data completion and analysis is important because it allows us to make

informed decisions based on data. For example, a company might use
data completion and analysis to identify its most profitable customers, or
to develop new products and services.

24
3.5 Research Report

A research report is a document that describes the findings of a research

project. Research reports are typically written in a formal style and
include a variety of sections, such as:

• Introduction: This section provides background information on the

research topic and states the research question or hypothesis.
• Literature review: This section summarizes the existing research
on the topic.
• Methodology: This section describes the methods that were used to
collect and analyze the data.
• Results: This section presents the findings of the research.
• Discussion: This section interprets the results of the research and
discusses their implications.

Week 1

I Explored organizational culture and deep discussions about how

organizations work and the roles of internships. At the same time, I looked
at how market strategies affect how organizations function and how
internships are set up. I carefully went over an old questionnaire, making
it better and more relevant.

Now, I'm working on a new questionnaire. It's designed very carefully to

gather a lot of information, especially about how the organization works,
what interns do, and how market strategies play a role. I know it's
important to use strong methods to analyze the data, so I'm focusing on
using Spss Software. This way, I can find important patterns and

30
connections in the information we collect. This helps us make decisions
and plan for the future based on real facts.

Week 2

I've been working hard to look at numbers and data to understand things
better. I finished making a big questionnaire for a survey. We talked a lot
about the questions we made before and why they matter. We also looked
at how marketing is really important for how businesses run. Right now,
I'm busy collecting more data using statistics.

At the end of the week, we had a big talk about how everything was going.
We discussed what we did during the internship and how far we've come.
It's been a week of putting in a lot of effort, especially in figuring out the
numbers and making sure our questions are just right.

We're making good progress, and I'm excited about what's coming next.

31
Week 3

We're surveying to understand what people like when it comes to food—

what they prefer, how much they eat, and what makes them choose certain
foods. We want to know the important things that affect why people pick
one food over another. The goal is to get a good understanding of what
matters most to people when they're choosing what to eat.

In this survey, we're asking questions to find out what factors are really
important to people when they decide what food to buy. We want to know
about their habits, what they like, and what makes them choose one
specific food over another. This way, we can learn more about what's
crucial to people when they're picking out their food.

The main idea is to get insights into why people make the food choices
they do. By understanding this, we can figure out what factors and
information are most important to them. So, this survey is all about
learning what matters to people when it comes to the food they eat.

32
Week 4

I wrapped up the week by collecting and putting together all the

information needed for my internship report. I started getting everything
organized and began the important task of creating a detailed report about
what I did during the internship. It's like putting all the pieces together to
show what I learned and accomplished.

At the same time, I started the process of getting a certificate that shows I
completed the internship. This certificate is like a formal recognition that
I finished the program. It's a big deal because it marks a significant step
forward in my whole internship experience. It's like saying, "I did it, and
I have proof!"

So, the end of the week was about gathering up all the information and
making sense of it for the report. It's a bit like telling the story of my time
during the internship—what I did, what I learned, and how it all adds up.
And, of course, getting that certificate feels like a great achievement, sort
of like getting a badge of honor for completing the internship successfully.

CHAPTER – 5
INTERNSHIP WORK

34
5.1 WORK DONE

A) Feedback Collection

A key element of taking surgery in a market is setting clear and

measurable marketing objectives. These objectives should be aligned with
the overall business goals and should be specific, measurable, achievable,
relevant, and time-bound (SMART). By establishing clear objectives,

35
companies can focus their efforts and resources on activities that will
drive results and contribute to the overall success of the business.

B) Preparing Questionnaire for the Survey

CHAPTER – 6
LEARNING

40
6.1 Learning from Internship

A. Facing real-world situations

The first and foremost thing that I have learned throughout the
internship period was to deal with real-world situations and how
to work and behave in the corporate world.

B. Dealing with customers/clients

Dealing with customers/clients is one of the most interesting

learning opportunities yet challenging and critical. Convincing
customers and dealing with clients enables them to learn
influential skills and think from the customer's perspective.

C. Working procedure of marketing

Learned the working procedure of client servicing and operations

departments, PR, and marketing departments. It provides
information on products, rates, and audience demographics.

41
D. Developed interpersonal skills

Improved and developed interpersonal skills, learned how to speak,

function, and work in a corporate way. Learned how to deal with
clients effectively and efficiently by using both soft and hard skills.

E. Handling work Pressure

Handling the work pressure was one of the important attitudes

learned and developed while working as an intern at Unique Food
by Kediafresh. Connect with the marketing professionals who
have experience with that company for the in-depth analysis of
marketing.

6.2 GHP PROCESS

Good hygiene practice is a fundamental measure and condition applied

at any step within the food chain to provide safe and suitable food. Good
hygiene practices are the set of requirements to prevent contamination of
food in order to provide safe food to consumers.

42
Marketing Research

Market research is the foundation of any successful marketing strategy.

The marketing department conducts in-depth market research to gain
insights into industry trends, customer preferences, and the competitive
landscape. This research helps in making informed decisions regarding
the company’s positioning and target audience.

Social Media Marketing

Leveraging social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and

LinkedIn to connect with and influence a specific audience. Social media
marketing often involves posting content, running paid ads, and engaging
with followers.
