Having already acquired a basic understanding of the product categories the
company offered, I was eager to explore the specifics of the medicines. These
pharmaceuticals played a crucial role in the company's offerings, and gaining a
comprehensive understanding of them was essential for my role in the sales
department. I started the day by engaging with the comprehensive product catalog
that Om Enterprises had developed over the years. The catalog was a compendium
of medicines, each designed for specific animals, ailments, and conditions. There
was a wide array of products, ranging from antibiotics to vitamins, and
supplements to more specialized formulations for treating various animal diseases.
To navigate this extensive catalog, I was provided with a structured orientation led

went into the development of these medicines was impressive. While the
orientation provided a solid theoretical understanding of the products, it was
essential to complement this knowledge with practical insights.

differentiators of each medicine, which would later prove invaluable in customer
interactions. Being able to distinguish the products visually and understanding their
packaging helped me appreciate the importance of product presentation and the
role it played in creating a positive first impression. Furthermore, the hands-on
exploration gave me insights into the storage and handling requirements of the
medicines. I learned how the temperature, humidity, and storage conditions could
impact the effectiveness of the products. This awareness would be crucial when
advising customers on the proper care and handling of the medicines. This report
outlines my experience and activities during my second day as an intern in the

SWOC Analysis

 What is SWOC Analysis?

 SWOT analysis is a technique for assessing the performance,

competition, risk, and potential of a business, as well as part of a
business such as a product line or division, an industry, or other
entity.
 Using internal and external data, the technique can guide businesses
toward strategies more likely to be successful, and away from those
in which they have been, or are likely to be, less successful.
Independent SWOT analysts, investors, or competitors can also guide
them on whether a company, product line, or industry might be strong
or weak and why.
 Components of SWOT Analysis.

 Every SWOT analysis will include the following four categories.

Though the elements and discoveries within these categories will
vary from company to company, a SWOT analysis is not complete
without each of these elements:

 Strengths
Strengths describe what an organization excels at and what separates it from
the competition a strong brand, loyal customer base, a strong balance sheet,
unique technology, and so on. For example, a hedge fund may have
developed a proprietary trading strategy that returns market-beating results.
It must then decide how to use those results to attract new investors.

 Weaknesses
Weaknesses stop an organization from performing at its optimum level.
They are areas where the business needs to improve to remain competitive:
a weak brand, higher-than-average turnover, high levels of debt, an
inadequate supply chain, or lack of capital.

 Opportunities
Opportunities refer to favorable external factors that could give an
organization a competitive advantage. For example, if a country cuts tariffs,
a car manufacturer can export its cars into a new market, increasing sales
and market share.

 Threats
Threats refer to factors that have the potential to harm an organization. For
example, a drought is a threat to a wheat-producing company, as it may
destroy or reduce the crop yield.

Continued adoption of digital solutions can enhance operational efficiency.

Implementing advanced technologies for inventory management, online
ordering, and customer relationship management can improve customer

 Market Competition:

In the early days of its establishment, Om Enterprises likely faced stiff

competition from existing players in the veterinary medicine industry.
Building a market presence and gaining a competitive edge would have been
a considerable challenge.

 Limited Resources:

Like many startups, Om Enterprises might have experienced constraints in

terms of financial resources, manpower, and infrastructure. This would have
required careful financial management and strategic decision-making to
overcome.

Developing innovative and effective veterinary medicines requires ongoing

research and development. Om Enterprises likely faced challenges in staying
abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary science and investing in
R&D initiatives.

challenging. Om Enterprises may have encountered obstacles in establishing
and maintaining an efficient distribution network to reach farmers and
veterinarians in every corner of Bihar.

challenging to uphold. Implementing eco-friendly manufacturing processes

If Om Enterprises aimed at international markets or collaborations, ensuring

compliance with global standards and regulations would have been a
challenge, necessitating additional efforts and resources.
