GAGEtrak Crib is a comprehensive crib management tool that

of every gage. Crib connects to your GAGEtrak Pro database
and is a perfect solution for a gage or tool crib operator or
for any other staff member who needs to transfer gages,
when a full copy of GAGEtrak Pro is not necessary.
The extensive crib management capability of GAGEtrak
Crib is already part of GAGEtrak Pro, but for staff members
who do not need full access to GAGEtrak Pro, opting for
a separate license of Crib as a stand-alone product is the
perfect, low-cost solution. Crib connects to your GAGEtrak
Pro database and allows you to track gages through their
entire life cycle, including product interactions.

With GAGEtrak Crib, you can track every issuance, return,

calibration and repair of every gage. This is particularly
useful in a gage crib, where gages and inspection equipment
are checked out and then returned for storage or to allow
any staff out on the floor to transfer gages. By tracking this
information, you’ll identify which gages your company uses
the most and who uses those gages. You’ll also be able to
locate any gage at any time.

Transfers in Crib can follow two-step transactional or single-

step routing models; transfer a single gage or multiple
gages in a batch and apply configurable routing rules to
automatically update locations, status or even to identify
gages that are not eligible for transfer or able to be used on specific products.

The extensive product management tools in Crib provide details on product interaction with
your gage inventory by allowing you to configure time-saving transfer templates, transfer
rules and service letters.
• Use transfer templates to define key characteristics of your products and easily manage
your gage requirements and capabilities.
• Define transfer rules to ensure that gages can only be transferred to products or jobs
when they meet specific measurement capability requirements.
• Review product and gage transfer history for corrective actions or product recalls.
• Use the three pre-defined letters in the Crib for service requests to outside vendors or you
can create your own letters as needed and include them in service requests or transfers.
• Use Service Requests to transfer gages to commercial calibration providers or customers,
including instructions, notes and reminders.
