FAST-NUCES
Founded as a Federally Chartered University in July
2000, the National University of Computer and
Emerging Sciences is a premier University of Pakistan,
renowned for quality and impact of its students in the
development of local software and other industries. The
university has five modern campuses at Karachi, Lahore,
Islamabad, Peshawar and Chiniot-Faisalabad. These
campuses provide world class educational environment
and recreational facilities to about over 11,000 students,
around one quarter are female and over 500 skilled
faculty members.

The Fast Computing Society is a dynamic and

student driven community at our FAST
NUCES Islamabad Campus, committed to
empowering students with the skills, support,
and experiences they need to excel in the
ever-evolving world of technology and
computing. Our society is built upon three
main pillars that drive our mission.
WHAT WE DO
SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS
FCS organizes diverse seminars and workshops to
keep students updated on modern technologies
and practical skills. These events explore the latest
trends, provide technical knowledge, and bridge
the gap between academia and real-world
applications. Workshops cover freelancing,
industrial projects, and success stories.

BUDDY PROGRAM
FCS offers weekly Buddy Sessions for students
dealing with programming and tough courses in a
new semester. Led by experienced teachers and
students, these sessions provide guidance on
coding, understanding concepts, and study
techniques in an open and supportive
environment.

SOCIAL EVENTS
We know studying is important, but having fun is
important too! FCS isn't just about serious stuff. We
also throw parties, go on adventures, and do other
fun things. It's a chance to make friends, have a
blast, and enjoy your time at university.

FAST Computing Society presents a 3-day
Technology Extravaganza at FAST-NUCES
Islamabad Campus, expected to attract
over 5000 attendees. Featuring a Tech
Expo, Ideathon, Coding Competitions, and
a TEDx Event, it's set to be an immersive
experience in technology and innovation.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission at Tech Connect is to cultivate an
environment where technology enthusiasts and
students can come together to explore and excel.
Through our diverse range of events, we aim to
inspire and empower students to push the
boundaries of what is possible in the dynamic
landscape of technology. By fostering intellectual
curiosity and providing valuable learning
opportunities, we strive to cultivate a community

Introducing our Tech Ideathon, a dynamic

problem-solving among Pakistan's youth.
Participants will converge to explore and
develop innovative solutions to pressing
societal challenges.

TEDX EVENT
TEDx is an annual event of global
coverage that brings together the World's
leading thinkers and doers to share Ideas
that matter in any discipline, including
Technology, Entertainment, Design, etc.

NETWORKING DINNER
Gather with industry professionals and
leaders at our Corporate Networking Dinner.
This exclusive event provides a platform for
meaningful connections, strategic
partnerships, and valuable insights.

AT TECHCON
SPEED PROGRAMMING
IT students will showcase their skills by solving logical puzzles using
code under time pressure. The more problems you crack, the greater
your chance to win in this fast-paced event.

CODE JAIL
Code Jail is an exhilarating and interactive competition designed to test
programming knowledge and problem-solving skills under pressure.

BUG CATCHER
A riveting competition designed for those seeking to sharpen their
coding skills at the fundamental level of programming.

APP DEV COMPETITION

The App Development Competition challenges participants to
showcase their coding skills and creativity in designing innovative
mobile applications.

UI/UX COMPETITION
Participants demonstrate their proficiency in crafting intuitive and
visually appealing user interfaces. Through this event, we aim to foster
innovation and excellence in the field of design.

SPEED TYPING
The Speed Typing Competition offers participants a platform to
showcase their typing speed and accuracy.
