Steps – group into stages

Time
Equipment – a largely mechanical process
The flow-chart illustrates the process by which products are
made from wool.

Overall, the production of goods made from wool entails twelve

steps, which can be divided into three stages: obtaining the raw
material (wool), processing it to form yarn, and using it to make
various products.

The process begins with sheep wool being cut off. The fleece is
then cleaned to ensure that it is ready for drying. Once dried, it
is spun, leading to two outcomes: the kind of wool that does not
meet necessary specifications which is turned into string and
subsequently recycled or the quality wool that moves onto the
next stage.

The quality wool undergoes further processing. It is first

transformed into tufts of wool, which are transported to storage
facilities. There, they are spun again to create balls of yarn.
These are either used for knitting or, on an industrial scale, to
produce different goods such as jackets or rugs.

The floor plans illustrate an office building as it is now and its
proposed redevelopment.

Overall, the building will undergo a complete makeover, with

the addition of new facilities and reconfiguration of existing
ones. This redevelopment will, however, come at the expense of
green zones and dining facilities.

At present, upon entering the building, visitors encounter a

reception area, to the left which are four office rooms, adjacent
to each other. Moving further back are toilets, behind which
there is a dining area including a kitchen, and a canteen as well
as a stock room. On either side of the building, there are green
zones.

Following the renovations, the entrance will be moved to the

center of the building. Similar to the current layout, the
reception will be facing the entryway. However, two of the office
rooms will be relocated to the rear of the building, taking the
place of/replacing the kitchen and the canteen. The other two
office rooms will be situated on either side of the doorway.

The future plans will also see grass zones make way for a
terrace with seating and a meeting area. The latter will feature
a newly installed coffee machine and restrooms, brought from
the central area.

more residential, industrial, urban, etc?
