FINDINGS: There is straightening of the normal cervical lordotic curvature which can be seen with muscle spasm due to ligamentous sprain and/or disc injury. There is normal vertebral alignment. No fractures, marrow lesions, or cord lesions. No solid or cystic lesions. No paraspinal masses. Detailed analysis of the motion segments is as follows: 2-3: There are no disc herniation or spinal canal stenosis. No neural foraminal stenosis. The facets appear normal for age. 3-4: There are no disc herniation or spinal canal stenosis. No neural foraminal stenosis. The facets appear normal for age. (4-5: There is a focal disc herniation impinging on the thecal sac with mild spinal canal stenosis. No neural foraminal stenosis. The facets appear normal for age.
