Light-transmitting concrete can plays a crucial part in construction and environment fields. Light is
transmitted from one surface of the brick wall to the other due to optical fibres strands along the
overall width of the wall which allows light to pass through. The fibers were used in different
percentages (0%, 0.25%, 0.5%, 0.75%, and 1.0%) of the weight of the fine aggregates. 16 short
beams were used for flexural strength at 0%, 0.5% and 1.0% fiber content which were tested after
curing for 7 and 28 days. This paper presents a study on the use of recycled aggregates, from a
concrete of specified class, to acquire new cement concrete with different percentages of recycled
aggregates. The maximum compressive strength is obtained for a concrete coupon of fiber content
0.4%. As the fiber content increased from 0.4 % the compressive strength get reduced, causing poor
workability of concrete. Fibres (by weight) are sandwiched between each layer of mortar and

industrial wastes are being produced per annum by chemical and agricultural process in India. Small
buildings are replaced by high rise buildings and skyscraper. As usual, the normal concrete has a
greyish colour and high-density characteristic which basically prevents the light from transmitting

aramid fibers especially in terms of using them with new types of concrete. The main aim of this
research is to identify how green concrete can help towards promotion of sustainable built
environment. The present trend in concrete technology is towards increasing the strength and
durability of concrete to meet the demands of the modern construction. In countries like the
Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, USA, Japan, France recycled concrete aggregates obtained from
demolition are valorized up to 90%, mainly for road construction and less in the manufacture of new

Several unconfined compression tests, triaxial compression tests, direct shear tests, and the
permeability tests have been carried out on the samples of cement-treated soft soils of Vinh Long city
by varying the content of Portland cement. The result shows that the compressive strength was

proportion. The results indicate that shear strength increases as the cement content increases, and the
permeability coefficient decreases as the cement content increases. New technologies have evolved

will leave a substantial mark on the environment. The manufacturing process, processing techniques
and their influence on different characteristics of aggregates and thereby the consequent concrete
properties associated with non-structural applications are discussed in detail. The concrete used in

transparancy, high density which blocks the possibility of distinguishing bodies, shapes through it.
Compressive Strength, tensile strength and water absorption capacity of the partially replacement of

Pakistan now offers a growing market for the construction industry. This new kind of building
material can integrate the concept of green energy saving with the usage self-sensing properties of
functional materials. And in the production of cement there is a big environmental problem arises is
with the production of cement are greenhouse gases, which causes environmental problem. For this
project, because the cost and time are limited; therefore, the soil-cement wall, SCW, without

objective presented in this research explores the differences between the translucent concrete and the

the curing ages of concrete block is after 7 days and 28 days respectively. The result shows a capable
application of soil cement piles for support of high-rise buildings. In recent days the demand for
river sand is increasing due to its lesser availability. Polymers as admixtures can improve the
properties, particularly in relation to water absorption reduction, toughness enhancement, vibration
damping and increase of the bond strength of cement to reinforcements. Optical fibers transmit light
so effectively that there is virtually no loss of light conducted through the fibers. All tests further
performed on our concrete samples and on the optical fibers as such were done to ascertain the
improvements of the casted blocks over normal concrete blocks of the same size and with the same
design ratios, and to ascertain the practical utility of using translucent concrete as a building material
for green building development. The world is converting into concrete jungles at a very fast rate,
which is involving high consumption of energy and other resources, thus leading to adverse

during harvest the leaves are cut as close to the ground as possible. The normal concrete is replaced
by translucent concrete, which has natural lighting and art design. Green concrete is very often also
cheap to produce because for example, waste products are used as a partial substitute for cement,
charges for the disposal of waste are avoided, energy consumption in production is lower, and
durability is greater. We reviewed the remarkable studies carried out especially last 10 years in
translucent concrete techniques. It is Green Energy saving material by using sunlight as a light
