Too many leaders
are floods!
Most leaders tend to have a focus
at the beginning, but they start to
grow distant from that focus and
start doing unrelated things and
start becoming floods!
 Imagine yourself in this scenario…
1. Mary wants to become a musician so she starts learning the
violin and enjoys it!

2. After learning basic notes and techniques, she starts to learn to

play the piano and enjoys it to!

3. She enjoys playing the piano so much that it makes you want to
branch out even more!

4. Soo, she starts learning the guitar.

and the cycle repeats….

Problem
If Mary keeps continuing the
cycle, she’ll never be good
enough at one instrument to
be a musician.
Solution
Mary needs to find one
instrument and practice it
constantly until she is good
enough to be a musician for
that instrument.
Mary needs to have a FOCUS.
This happens in leadership too!
This results the project to be a
flood.

These companies are examples of rivers. They
move in one direction, and being a river is about
clear vision and sharp focus.
