1. GREETINGS
Good morning everyone.
Welcome to MALUNGON TRAINING CENTER
Thank you for choosing this institution in training ANIMAL PRODUCTION NC-II.

Before we start, kindly sign this attendance sheet and I will check your attendance as I call your name

3. INTRODUCTION OF YOURSELF
 By the way, I am SHANDY MINGUITO SORIAL, your trainer in ANIMAL PRODUCTION (SWINE) NC-II.
Once again, welcome to MALUNGON TRAINING CENTER

4. ADMINISTER DATA GATHERING INSTRUMENT


Before we proceed to our session, I will let you answer this Data Gathering Instrument. This could help me
get information about you, know your characteristics as well as your learning style. This will also serve as my
guide in giving you your learning materials. Kindly answer this Data Gathering Instrument.

May I have your Instrument? So, as I can see, some of your answers fall under VISUAL and some are in
AUDITORY. So, this would be my basis in giving you your learning materials.

5. EXPLAIN THE PURPOSE OF SELF ASSESSMENT CHECKLIST (R-P-L)


This time I would like you to answer the Self-Assessment Checklist. This checklist is consisting of
competencies required in this qualification, and these would also help me determine your competencies and
identify your training needs and gaps.
For those who would like to answer YES, please check the YES column. Make sure that you know how to
perform the task and you have your proof of evidence. This would be your certificate of trainings and your
transcript of records and others. Please be honest in answering this SELF- ASSESSMENT CHECKLIST. (Give the
checklist to students)

As I can see, Mr/Ms. (with No Prior Knowledge) Checked the NO column in all of the first items while
Mr./Ms .(with Prior Knowledge)answered YES in the 4TH CORE COMPETENCY which is HANDLE BREEDERS
For Mr./Ms. (with Prior Knowledge), please bring with you your proof of evidence next meeting and please
be ready to perform the task for this competency. You will also undergo practical assessment which includes
oral questioning, written test and demonstration test. Any questions or clarifications? Thank You. 6. GIVE
PRE-TEST (Turn On the Projector) This time, I will give you a PRE-TEST. This is a written test that would help
me determine your basic knowledge and your preparedness in this Qualification (BPP

NC – II). This is a 40-item test and this would help me identify your UNDERPINNING KNOWLEDGE about this
qualification.

6. POWERPOINT PRESENTATION OF THE CBT, (principle, role of trainer, trainees)

This time, let us have a short orientation about CBT Approach.


In Traditional Education System, the unit progression is time and it is teacher- centered while in the
Competency Based Training System, the unit of progression is the mastery of specific knowledge and skills and it
is participant/learner centered.

What is CBT? -Competency Based Training –it is a training delivery approach that focuses on the competency
development of the learner. -It emphasizes on what the learner can actually do, it is concerned with the
attainment and application of knowledge, skills and attitude to a specific level of competency.

There are 10 CBT Principles.

Let us proceed to the Role of the Trainer

Next is the Role of the CBT Trainee

Since some of you already have an experience, your attainment will be treated and is subject for validation
through institutional assessment. If ever you are to pass your institutional assessment, you can proceed to the
next competency. Overview of the qualification (BPP NC II) Course description Basic, Common, Core
Competencies By the time you pass this qualification as competent, you will be called as a Pastry cook or a
Commis.

8. WORKSHOP TOUR

This time, please follow me as we tour the different areas in this classroom.

First, we have here:

TRAINER’S RESOURCE AREA –this is where you can find the training regulation, learning materials, and other
training facilities.

PRACTICAL WORK AREA –in this area, you can acquire knowledge and skills prescribed in the competency
standards.

LEARNING RESOURCE AREA –is located near the practical work area. This is where you can find modules and
learning materials such as printed or soft copy.

INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT AREA –this is located proximate to the Learning Resource Area. Recognition of
prior learning and institutional assessment will be done and takes place and it is done every competency to
check if you have met the competency and in this area there will be Oral questioning, Written Test, and
Demonstration Test.

QUALITY CONTROL AREA –this is where your output is checked and if you meet the standard requirement.

CONTEXTUAL LEARNING AREA –it ensures your underpinning knowledge in science, math and communication
skills applied.

DISTANCE LEARNING AREA –it has an array of computers with internet connection where you can reach the
techniques of methodologies that you may apply during your training.

SUPPORT SERVICE AREA –this place provide value added competency that you need during your training.
COMPUTER LABORATORY –it has an array of computers wherein you can learn IT competencies and you can
have your e-learning.

Let us go back to the Trainer’s Resource Area.
