ESSAY:
As the population keep growing rapidly, the demand for housing
and accommodation is raising worldwide. Some people
suggested that more buildings need to be built in metropolitan
areas, while others gave an opposite opinion that property
developers need to create more houses in remote areas.
Although it is a good idea to build more houses in cities and
towns, I personally believe that more accommodations is
needed in the countryside.
On one hand, it is understandable to make more constructions
in the metropolis. First of all, the increase of housings leads to
the decline in their price. The cost of living in cities is already
absurdly high, such as the price of consumer goods,
transportations and other services, so it would be helpful for
citizens if the accommodation was cheaper. The shorter
distancing from one’s home to their workplace is also a reason.
Employees can select their accommodations in a variety of
different places, which the most beneficial one is the closest to
their company. This results in more time for their morning
activities and more savings because those workers don’t need
much transportation.
Despite those apparent benefits, it is undeniable that creating
more facilities in remote areas leads to great profits for both
residents and the country. Firstly, people in the new towns
experience much lower standards compared to cities, which
helps them to save more money. As a result, houses in the
countryside is relatively affordable. Another reason to make
more buildings there is the low density of vehicles. There is no
such thing like harmful smokes packing in the air or traffic
congestion during rush periods. Therefore, having a house in
rural areas can benefit you with fresh air to breath and plenty of
spare time. Finally, the development of the economy can comes
from the new properties in remote places. Commercial areas
and workplaces can take place in areas that are not very
crowded.
In conclusion, people are wanting more and more
accommodations due to the population boom. Although
building them in cities and towns can benefit house prices and
working condition, I strongly believe that the less crowded
areas should be the place to have more properties to improve
their living standards, traffic problems and economy.
