These days, the number of people who prefer to live in big cities is increasing, while others find

it is better to have a rural life due to its slow pace. This situation brings both decisions.
On the one hand, it is undeniable that citizens can access modern amenities compared to local
people. Cities offer a wide range of facilities, including restaurants, shopping malls, universities,
movie theaters and health centers. As a result, people in the city should have no trouble finding
somewhere to study or relax. Moreover, most businesses and industries are located in cities,
there are more work prospects there so city dwellers can find suitable jobs easily. However, next
to the hustle and bustle of life, indeed, the rate of crime and air pollution in the city is commonly
higher than in the rural areas.
Conversely, opposite to citizens, people living in the countryside also enjoy where they live. The
rural area provides them with a healthier and less exhausting life. The less workload is, the less
stressful people suffer. Nevertheless, compared to cities, villages too have their share of issues,
such as inadequate infrastructure and facilities.
In conclusion, deciding where to live depends on their preference and sometimes their income as
well. Personally, although I enjoy the slow-paced life, I believe moving to cities brings me better
opportunities to improve myself.
