2. DISCUSSION
Tempo is the speed of a music or a
song.
When we say speed, it can be slow or
fast.
Just like how we sang the song Head,
shoulders, knees, and toes a while ago.
We sang the song in slow and fast
tempo.
Okay class, as we observe in a music (Students will sing and listen to the song)
with fast tempo, it is commonly used
in happy, dance, and party songs.
Give me other examples of songs that
has a fast tempo.

To test if you really understand
our lesson today. Let us have a fun
activity.
I will divide you into three (3) groups.
Each group has this fast and slow label
cards. I will show you pictures and
each pictures need to identify if those
pictures moves fast or slow by raising
the right label cards. Because tempo is
also determine if its fast or slow.
I will only count 5 seconds to
determine and shows if it is slow or
fast.
