ABSTRACT

IRC: 65-2017 is a formal code that has been used to design “Traffic Rotaries”

and it has been prepared but the specifications and standard committee and

published in 1955. The objective of the study is the identification of the accident

prone roundabouts.

The selected study area is the roundabout VOC Rd, Harbour Estate, and Tuticorin
Beach Road. . The accident analysis is done from 3 year day (2019-2022). The
scope of the study is to prevent accident near the selected roundabout, roundabout
lighting process and roundabout signs is also suggested.
