Stop At: Besh Barmag Mountain, Siyazan Azerbaijan

Driving along the M1 motorway connecting the capital of Azerbaijan with the largest cities of
Russia, you will see the mountain Beshbarmak, located near the coast of the Caspian Sea.
Beshbarmak is a place of pilgrimage for the local population and thanks to its height and shape
has been an excellent reference point for sailors since ancient times. The holy place “Pir Hydyr
Zundzha” is located at the foot of the Beshbarmag Mountain, where the travelers stop to
perform prayers and worship. Your professional guide will tell you the mythical stories
associated with this place.

The second destination will be Guba city, which is located in one of the most beautiful natural
landscapes of Azerbaijan. On the way to Guba, our guests will visit the unique settlement of
Jews in mountains, "Caucasian Jerusalem" - the Red Town.

After, on the way you will have lunch at a restaurant in Quba, which includes the first courses of
your choice, mix of kebabs - lamb, lula, chicken, vegetables, pilaf, choban-salad, soft drinks.

Stop At: State Historical, Architectural and Ethnographic Reserve Khinalig, Khinalug Azerbaijan

Isolated from the Wolrd, Khinalug village is located at an altitude of 2100 meters above sea
level and will be the last point to visit during this tour. You will see not only the ancient
architecture of this village, you will also enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the peaks
surrounding this village. And on the way to Khinalig, you can often see eagles flying overhead,
wild horses galloping along the banks of stony rivers and clouds descending so low that
sometimes they can even be touched.

Stop At: Yeddi Gozel Waterfall

" Yedi Gozel waterfalls(7 Beauty's Waterfalls)" cascaded down a mountain hill in 7 different
stages of rock and hence the name 7 beauty's Waterfalls.There were steps to climb up the hill
along a parallel pathway that followed the flow of this narrow gushing waterfalls. We went only
upto the second stage of the waterfalls as it would have been strenuous walking to the source of
the waterfalls which was the peak of this hill.Stopped at this stage where there was a large
wooden platform facing the gushing waterfalls for tourists to admire as well as indulge in
photography.

Things to Do in Qobustan
Stop At: Gobustan Rock Art
It's amazing how you can get up close to the rock art and try to decipher what the pictures are and
what they might mean. You follow a path through the area to see several of the sites in turn, some of
these have explanation boards. Our guide was good in that he was able to point out pictures we
might have missed. You need to concentrate to see them as you can easily miss them.

Mud Volcanoes: a whole family of ‘geologically flatulent’ little conical mounds that erupt with thick,
cold, grey mud.
