Benjamin Fain

One of my key philosophies in life is to always keep your options open and take

opportunities whenever they appear. In my life, I have done this by putting great effort in all

areas of my life from school to sports and clubs. Some of the opportunities I have found through

this dedication allowed me to travel to St. Louis for a business competition, and then even Japan

for an international cultural exchange program. These are just some of the largest ones.

Volunteering opportunities in high school and travelling for club soccer, though smaller, are still

tremendous opportunities that can give you perspective as to how different people live and how

to work effectively in a team.

Thinking of many of life’s events as opportunities to learn has allowed me to develop a

very well-rounded skillset that can empower me to work in any job environment. Professional

presentation skills from my trip to Kansas University’s Sales Competition, cultural awareness

from my Japanese exchange trip, teamwork skills from 14 years of soccer, all give me a solid

base that can’t be truly learned just from reading a book or taking a class.

Having been born in Orlando Florida next to the big amusement parks and an avid video

game player since the age of 6, I know what it is like to be a consumer of interactive

entertainment. I’ve always been enthralled by the ways companies use technology to entertain

consumers and given the element the consumer has in creating that experience for themselves or

with friends, I believe that the field will stick around far into the future. My experience in the

field is what made me want to get a job in it in the first place. My ultimate goal is to help create

interactive experiences for people that way they may be inspired like I was, and better and better

experiences can be made.
