I. TITLE: PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY CUM GENERAL

ASSEMBLY

II. RATIONALE

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 035, s. 2016, “The Learning Action Cell (LAC) as a
K to 12 Basic Education Program School-Based Continuing Profession Development
Strategy for the Improvement of Teaching and Learning”.
The DepEd also recognizes that the quality of learning is greatly influenced by the
quality of teaching. Organizing professional learning communities will aid teachers in the
construction of new knowledge about instruction as well as in revising traditional beliefs
and assumptions about education, community, teaching, and learning (Little 2003) to suit
the present needs of learners.
In line with this, Bitik Elementary School will have a Professional Learning
Community focusing on the trends of teaching with ICT Integration that would help
improve the teaching-learning process.

III. OBJECTIVES:

A. Terminal Objective

To improve the teaching-learning process that will lead to improve

learning among the students

B. Enabling Objective

1. demonstrate positive teaching approaches and strategies for the learners in this
changing time of teaching

2. to enable teachers to support each other to continuously improve their content and
pedagogical knowledge, practice, skills, and attitudes; and

3. to foster a professional collaborative spirit among school heads, teachers, and the
community.

VIII. EXPECTED OUTPUT/OUTCOME:

 100% of the participants showed positive approaches in teaching and crafted suited
strategies for learners.
 100% of the participants were prepared and equipped with the upgraded teaching
strategies this trying time.
 100% of the participants attended and submitted their outputs.

IX. IMPLEMENTATION PLAN/ SCHEME

In the DepEd Memorandum No. 29 s, 2022 given on April 6,2022, all DepEd
schools and community learning centers are hereby directed to adhere to the 100% onsite
reporting capacity.

In compliance with the guidelines above, administration, the teachers, visitors,

parents, and the pupils will attend in the face-to-face Graduation, Moving-Up and
