I hope this letter finds you in good spirits. I am Mary Carl F. Menil a teacher of Tubod National High
School and a resident of San Francisco, Mainit, Surigao del Norte. I am writing to express my earnest
intent in seeking a transfer from my current station to Hacienda National High School located in the
same barangay knowing that the said school has natural vacancy upon the death of Mrs. Gloria M.
Placeros.

The reasons for this request are the following:

1. I am 7weeks pregnant as this point in time.

2. It is much risky on my pregnancy to travel; riding on motorcycle for almost an hour back and
forth every day. I am also afraid of the possible incidents that will happen along my way
knowing that I am traveling on a highway.
3. Moving to a closer school would allow me to dedicate more time for my family especially to
my baby after work. It would enable me to better care and protect them from any circumstances.
This transfer would be practical considering my role as the primary breadwinner for our family.
4. Moreover, the significant distance between my residence and the workplace has also led to
instances where unexpected travel delays and fatigue due to exposure to varying weather
conditions which have affected my punctuality and overall performance at work.

I am humbly appealing to your office and I am hoping for your understanding and kind consideration. It
would be a great favor if this request will be granted and given attention. Thank you very much and
