MANET Starts Registrations For 2023 CET


Established in 2001, Maharashtra Academy Of Naval Education & Training (MANET), Pune is a part of
MAEER (Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Education and Research) MIT Group of Institutions, Pune.
The courses are approved by Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India are a
constituent of MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Pune.
Courses offered: B.Tech (Marine Engg) and 3 yr B.Sc (Nautical Science)
Candidates shortlisting:
Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their PCM marks and Medical fitness as per the DGS norms and
they are called to MANET, Pune to confirm their admission in the month of June-July (tentatively).
Or Online document verification and admission confirmation will be done through mail.

● Date of MANET CET: 25 May 2023

AIMA Changes UGAT 2023 Schedule


The All India Management Association has revised the UGAT-AIMA 2023 schedule. The application deadline
as well as the date of admission test has been extended.
About UGAT-AIMA: Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) is a standardized exam that is conducted each
year by AIMA to select applicants for various undergraduate programs including Integrated MBA (IMBA),
BBA, BCA, BHM, BCom, etc.
About AIMA: AIMA was established in 1957 to further the cause of the management profession in India.
Revised schedule:
● Last date of online application: 5 June 2023 (earlier deadline was 28 April 2023)
● Date of exam: 11 June 2023 (date announced earlier was 6 May 2023)
Eligibility:
● A minimum qualification of 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board is required.
● Students who are appearing or appeared 10+2 exams are also eligible to apply.

SVNIRTAR Conduct Paramedical UG CET for National Institutes


The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment supports manpower development in the field of rehabilitation
through National Institutes, which offer a number of courses for which All India Entrance Test is being
conducted. Amongst them, there are 3 UG courses (4 years + 6 months internship) offered in Delhi, Kolkata,
Chennai and Cuttack:
● Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
● Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT)
● Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics (BPO)
Key dates:
● Application last date: 12 June 2023 (5PM)
● Admit card available for download: 16 to 30 June 2023
● Date of entrance test: 9 July 2023
● Declaration of result: 17 July 2023 (tentative date)
● Start of Counseling: 1 August 2023

NATA 2023 Dates Changed by CoA For 2nd Test


The Council of Architecture has changed the dates for NATA-2023 (National Aptitude Test in Architecture)
2nd test. The test was earlier scheduled to be conducted on 28 May but shall now be conducted on 3 June.
The application deadline has also been extended for second and third test.
As of now, applications for 2nd and 3rd test are in progress.
NATA new dates:
● First test : Date over
● Second test : 3 June (application last date extended upto 8PM., 22 May 2023)
● Third test: 9 July 2023 (application last date extended upto 8PM., 27 June 2023)
3 Attempts: Candidates are allowed to appear for any one or any two or all the three tests. In case a
candidate appears for 2 Tests, best of the 2 scores shall be the valid score and in the case of 3 attempts, valid
score shall be average of the 2 best scores.
Eligibility: This year, there is no relaxation in eligibility. CoA has notified the eligibility for 2023-24 as
below:
“No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless he has passed an examination at the end of the
10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50 per cent. Aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics and also at least 50 per cent. marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3
Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50 per cent. marks in
aggregate.” Last year, the requirement of minimum 50% marks in 10+2 was waived off.

NCHM JEE 2023 Application Date Extended


National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for registration for national level Joint Entrance
Exam 2023 which NTA shall be conducting on behalf of National Council For Hotel Management and Catering
Technology, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India (NCHM-JEE) for admission in BSc in Hospitality &
Hotel Administration. As we reported earlier, 2 key changes have been introduced this year.
Key changes introduced: This year, the following two key changes have been announced.
● 4 year curriculum: As per NEP 2020, there will be a 4th year option for the students to get an Honours
Degree.
● IGNOU component removed, Course recognition by JNU: The course is now offered by National
Council for Hotel Management at its affiliated institutes and is recognised by JNU.
Earlier, it was offered jointly by NCHMCT and IGNOU. The degree used to be awarded by IGNOU. And In
order to become eligible for award of the degree B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration by IGNOU,
students had to complete the NCHMCT component as full time candidates in the affiliated Institutes of Hotel
Management as well as clear the credit papers offered by IGNOU during the course of study.
Extended dates for NCHM-JEE 2023:
● Last date to apply: 2 May 2023 (earlier deadline was 27 Apr 2023)
● The application correction window shall be available from 3 to 4 May 2023.
● Date of entrance exam: 14 May 2023
Participating Institutes and Intake: 75 participating institutes with 11,965 seats including Central
Government Institutes of Hotel Management, PSU Institute of Hotel Management, State Government Institutes
of Hotel Management and Private Institutes of Hotel Management.
