MODULE-II & III

Bridgeman’s Dimensional analysis:

It is a weighted geometric mean wise locational advantageous method to choose
the better location out of two location where we may consider quantitative and
qualitative factor both with respect to appropriate valuable weights also.

Location A Location B Weights(w)

Quantitative Factor1 C1(A) C1(B) W1
factors
Factor2 C2(A) C2(B) W2
…. …. …. ….
Qualitative Factor3 Q3(A) Q3(B) W3
factors
Factor4 Q4(A) Q4(B) W4
…. …. …. ….

K= (C1(A)/ C1(B)) W1 *(C2(A)/ C2(B)) W1 ……… (Q3(A)/ Q3(B)) W3 *(Q4(A)/ Q4(B)) W4 …….
Now if the value of K is <1 then location “A” preferable. If score 1 to 20 is best to
worst.

By using the above formula solve the above sum.

(Ans:- K = 0.00056 and Kolkata location preferable)
