Good architecture is distinctive not because it is unusual but because it

elevates a space. Good architecture emerges from comparison within the scene:
there is something difficult going on, something unknown, something that wants to
be understood but resists immediate understanding in such a broad and
fundamental way that everything becomes involved. Thus, excellent architecture
elicits an existential experience rather than an aesthetic or ethical one since the
space which envelops humans is at risk (Van Reeth, 2013).

In the book of Bryan Bell (2004) entitled “Good Deeds, Good Design,” he
stated that a range of community-based design approaches is presented, with
explicit development of an alternative architecture practice through providing
evidence and pathways. The experience of good architecture relies on its contrast
with the surroundings. This might take on numerous meanings, like creating new
possibilities; it may refresh and extend culture. The unique ‘architecture work’
reflects the challenge of constructing architecture without the absence of rules,
principles, or conventions. Architecture historiography, too, validates this approach
by recognizing the uniqueness of events and structures. Furthermore, the one-of-a-
kind, high-quality structure serves as a focal point for ordering the whole universe
(Van Gerrewey, 2013).

Exemplary architecture does what it is supposed to do. More than just

designing and building, considering design of public spaces should prioritize
accessibility, safety, aesthetics, and social integrity to qualify as good architecture
(Chitkara University, 2023). Furthermore, to its larger effects on society, architecture
may have a significant personal impact on those who live in it. The design of the
room, the materials used for the finishing, and the occupants' overall well-being may
all influence their productivity and well-being. It has been demonstrated that
employees who work in well-designed environments are more productive, focus
better, and take fewer sick days overall.

The life that emerges inside architecture must make decisions and face clarity
and opposition. For instance, walls, rooms, and doors indicate activities and kinds
of division. At the same time, architecture never disappears into the messages it
conveys (Verschaffel, 2013). Since most people who live in urban areas spend
around 95% of their time indoors, architecture has a significant impact on our well-
being. But most architecture ignores the non-visual senses of taste, touch, smell,
and hearing in favor of creating structures that are primarily intended to appeal to the
sight.

Architecture is essential for establishing a feeling of identity and

location. A community's culture, morals, and traditions can reflect in its buildings and
public places. A historic structure or monument, for example, might act as a reminder
of our cultural history in addition to preserving it. Furthermore, contemporary
structures may foster an understanding of innovation and development while
reflecting a community's ambitions. It can strengthen our feeling of community and
belonging by instilling an awareness of identity and place. Also, architecture is the
practice of planning and creating various kinds of buildings to suit each other
practical and aesthetic needs.
Given that each culture has a distinct relationship with the natural world along with
the societies surrounding it, the buildings it builds reveal a lot about its customs,
history, environment, artistic sensibility, and many other aspects of daily life.

The Architect shall inspire the loyalty of his workers and subordinates by
providing them with proper working circumstances, forcing them to provide
competent and efficient services, and compensating them adequately and fairly. He
will instruct and guide new aspirants on the values, functions, obligations, and
responsibilities of the profession. (Professional Regulation Commission (1995).

CONCLUSION:

To conclude the study, having good architectural design not only focuses on
concept but on all the components or elements of a structure. It goes beyond
aesthetics and has something to do with working with space and elements to create
a coherent and functional structure. So, it affect us well, good architecture enriches
and enhances our daily lives in ways that we could not possibly foresee or expect.
To be concrete, the best residential structures are the ones that improve our
productivity and may even boost profits. In other words, good architecture enhances
the space aesthetically and otherwise.
