English Literature IX

Aims
To help students approach literature with a sense of enjoyment and enthusiasm.
To appreciate writers’ use of language to convey meaning.
To appreciate literature as an expression of ideas and themes which extend beyond a
particular society and time.
To develop an awareness of literature as a reflection of life.
