Annual Day Celebration Report 2022

Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Arts and Science College has been
started in the year 1995 by Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara
Swamigal (TKVTSS) Medical Educational and Charitable Trust. The college has
celebrated the Annual Day Celebration on 22th April 2022 at 5.00 PM. Prof Dr. V.
Anbazhagan, Principal, Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Arts and
Science College, Salem has delivered the welcome address to propagate the vision
and mission of the college. He highlighted the Skill Development Training
Programs which develops student’s skills such as Soft Skills, Communication
Skill, Yoga and Wellness, Employability Skill Development, Entrepreneurship
Skill. He specifies Innovation and Entrepreneurship related achievements like
ARIIA Ranking - band "PERFORMER", Extension and Outreach Activities,
and Students Achievements.

He shared special achievements by faculty such as Associate Editor in


Elsevier, Guest Editor in Journal of Applied Biochemistry and Biotechnology-
Springer, Chair person for International Conferences, Summer Faculty Research
Fellow Award, Research Grants Award, Distinguished Researchers Award,
Distinguished Academic Leaders Award, Best Oral Presentation Award, and
resource persons in different professional development events organized by other
premier institutions. Notably, research publications published by faculty members
who involved in promoting innovation and research activities. Their published
book chapters, research articles, peer reviewed journals.

Most importantly, Dr. C. Karthik Kumar’s "Perovskite based detectors for x


and gama ray detection and ToF-PET imaging" , Dr. Divya Krishnamoothi, and
Dr. V. Anbazhagan’s “Development of Technology for Recycling and Reusing of
Denture Base Resin Acrylic Beads (PMMA) used in Dentistry” Research Projects
has Sanctioned Government Agencies with sound amount. In addition to that he
stated the extension and outreach activities like tree plantation, awareness rally
through motivate our students and to create the spark of social responsibility.

He proudly says students’ achievements and awards received from sports and
games Mr.S.Vignesh, M.Sc. Computer Science (2018 -2020) won Gold Medal in
Boxing in the 1st Federation Cup National Rural Games Championship 2019 held
at The Carmelagiri CMI Public School, Korandikad, Munnar, Kerala.

Mr.S.Vignesh, M.Sc. Computer Science (2018 -2020) won Gold Medal in Boxing
in the Youth Games All India national Championship 2019 held at Youth Games
Association, Rajasthan. Mr. A. Mubarak. B.Sc. Computer Science (2020-21) won
Gold Medal in Boxing in the 3rd National Federation Cup 2020-21 held at Youth
& Sports Association, Goa. Mr. T. Mohankumar, I MA Tamil won 2nd Place in
the Bench Press competition organized by Dindugul Power lifting Association.

Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) has
motivated and appreciated the students to achieve the great things in their future
endeavors. Here after the noble person, Registrar Prof .Dr. B. Jaykar, Vinayaka
Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), encourages our
students to participate not only academics but also sports.

development. This will lead the successful career.

The plurality and multiplicity of the Indian Culture is evident to the whole World
as India has one of the world's largest collections of songs, music, dance, theatre,
folk traditions, performing arts, rites and rituals, languages, dialects, paintings and
writings that are known, as the 'Intangible Cultural Heritage'. Notably, Students
have given their fascinating and mesmerize performance to make the event more
vibrant with new vibe.

event, Mr. B.Dasapprakasan, Professor and Head, Department of English,
Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Arts and Science College, Salem
