“19TH FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF CORDOVA PUBLIC COLLEGE”

Celebrating the 19th Foundation Anniversary of Cordova Public College was a momentous
occasion filled with joy, nostalgia, and a sense of accomplishment. My experiences during the celebration
were truly memorable, creating lasting impressions on everyone involved. On the first day of this month's
celebration, which is the foundation day, we are assigned in different tasks. We prepare so much time for
this as well as the effort of all involved personnel. By this time, I was assigned to lead the Beed department
in a foot parade from school to church. And as an SSG officer, it is not easy to lead people, especially since
they have their own principles. Student leadership is being in a position to influence, motivate, and guide
others toward the achievement of a goal. During the English festival day, which is Tuesday, it was the most
anticipated moment of Beed 2b and 2c. because we joined the bench yell competition, and it’s our first time
joining it. It was a great moment to perform in front of many people around the complex. So before that
day, we maximize our time so well, and we do more practices because our aim is to win that completion!
And at that time, during the competition, we felt so nervous because we saw that our competitors performed
so well. So each and every one is motivating to each other’s.
My role there is to make sound and perform with a loud drum. It’s not easy at all because the
pressure is there. but overall, I thank God that we performed so well. And the result is that we are chosen
to be the champions of that competition! And also this dance festival day was rough for me. Because, as an
SSG officer, this is our proposed plan, yet we have come through this day. This is the kind of event for
which we are the hosts. Before this day, we were the ones who designed everything for this event. Although
it was so stressful, it was an amazing experience to organize an event. It was great because all of our hard
work paid off. And it was such a successful event that I think all of the students at CPC are well entertained
and having fun as well. It is also a great way to entertain and have fun and make someone proud. I am
proud of my classmates and my co-students in CPC for making these things possible and doing their best
to make movements and symbols of every genre that they choose. I was amazed by their movements. They
are so talented that they can expand and express everything.
Overall, the 19th Foundation Anniversary celebration of Cordova Public College was a resounding
success, encapsulating the institution's achievements, values, and aspirations. It served as a testament to
the collective efforts of the entire Cordova community and set the stage for even greater accomplishments
in the years to come. The celebration provided an opportunity for reflection on the journey of Cordova
Public College over the past nineteen years. From humble beginnings to its current stature, attendees
reminisced about the challenges faced and the milestones achieved, highlighting the college's growth and
evolution. A vibrant cultural showcase added color and energy to the celebration. Students, staff, and
alumni came together to present performances showcasing the rich diversity of talents within the Cordova
Public College community. Dance, music, drama, and other artistic expressions captivated the audience
and instilled a sense of pride in the college's cultural heritage.
