Week 2 - Task: Assignment - Where are you from?

Now it's time for you to do the task for this week. Read the instructions below. Remember that
if you need to review a topic, you can always check the course material as many times as you
need. Keep in mind that you have to present this task during week 2.

1. Outcome
Through this activity, students write a text with personal information and the place of origin of
an actor or actress of their preference using the grammar and vocabulary learned in Weeks 1
and 2.

2. Description

 Step 1: Individual task


 Step 2: Check this week’s study material and your sessions’ notes.
 Situation: Select an actor or actress, look for personal information of the
selected carácter, and pretend you are that person. You can invent their
personal information. (Ex. address, phone number, city, etc.).
 Content:
 Vocabulary and expressions (Week 1 and Week 2)
 Verb to be (I am)
 Countries, cities and nationalities
 Numbers
 Step 3: Write the text.
 Step 4: Review the content, grammar, and spelling of your text.
 Step 5: Once you check your text, attach a cover to your writing and upload it
to the Canvas platform. Write your name and last name on the cover. Include
your photo. Example of the cover:
