Background
Worldwide there are many people who have disabilities and they face a lot of difficulties for
their problem. For instance, those who are blind cannot move around without other’s help,
disable people cannot share their feelings properly because most people don’t understand
their body language, gimps often suffer sometimes and need other’s help. Nobody in the
world is not there to help them every time. And most time the disable people hesitate for
asking help. As a result, it becomes a great suffering for the disables.
Objectives
YANA will be a portable application system which will solve these problems by eradicating the
sufferings of disables
1. Blind
2. Dumb
3. Gimp
4. Adhd

List of operations that the system will provide are:

1. User ID to the registered users.
2. Voice assistant for easy use by any user.
3. Virtual library with a branch of audio books.
4. Voice to text to write virtual notes.
5. Call service with voice command.
6. Road direction.
7. Wheel chair controller.
8. Sign language to readable human language convertor.
9. Smart home service
10. Time maintenance.
Scope
YANA will be used to provide huge facilities to the people who have disabilities. For the people with blindness, there
will have voice assistant, road direction, virtual library with audio books, voice to text convertor for making notes
and call services using voice command. As blinds cannot see, they cannot use phone. So, the person who install this
system will make the blind people registered in this system and activate and verify voice command mode. Then the
blind people can use this system using their verified voice command. Virtual library is a huge resource of
knowledge. In the virtual library, blind people can listen to audio books and gather knowledge. Again, blinds can do
their desired notes. In this case the voice to text convertor will help them. When a blind speaks, the system will
convert it into text and let them listen it as audio again. Even they can make emergency call using this. Blind will get
road direction from this app. The gimps can control their wheel chair using the controller in this system. Dump
people will have facility to share their feelings with others using our system. In this case, this system will be
providing sign language to human language convertor. The human language will be seen in the camera. Any person
using this feature will understand dump people’s feelings properly. There are some people who can’t manage their
time properly. They most often can’t remember about their tasks timely. For this fact our time maintenance system
will help them. There will have different sounds according to different activities. In the time of a task, a sound will
be tuned and the sound will be the name of that task. For instance, if it is lunch time of Azim at 2.30 PM, the sound
will be “Azim, please have your lunch!” And the sound will repeat. There will be different interfaces for different
users. Overall the system will make a disable person’s life easier than before. Besides there will be a special feature
called “Smart Home Service” which can be used by all to turn on and off lights, fans in their house.

Assumptions and Constrains

It is assumed that the user is comfortable with smart phone. The user should know how to use a
smart phone. The user interface will be available in any languages so that this system can be used
worldwide by any disable person. Once a person registered and log into the system. It will be
automatically saved and always kept logged in. A proper internet connection will be required for
this system.
Dependencies and Risks
The user must have internet access in order to use the system. The main risk behind implementing
the project is security. If somebody hacks the system then it will be a total disorder. So, during
development it will be one of the major concerns. Another concern is having common bugs such as
the interface of blind user overlapping with the UI of dump people.
Requirements

Device: smart phone

operating system: android, IOS
RAM & ROM: 4GB & 64GB or higher.
Future Plan
YANA is a smart phone application which aimed to reduce the sufferings of disable persons. Except
our current planning we are setting some plan to be implemented in future.

Conclusion
Being disable is not a problem, it is a different ability. YANA is planned to develop for changing the
world of disabled and boost their confident and ability. This system will eradicate the discrimination
between weak and strong. All human is same in ability, just the area of ability is different. So, the
main motive to develop this system is to prove that disability is a different ability, not a curse. YANA
will represent how charming and beautiful the world is and give them a message, “you are not
alone.”
