2. Overview
- This course equips students with basic knowledge and skills of Logistics.
- Provide students with the definition of supply management tasks, focusing on the activities
of planning, implementing and controlling effectively the forward and reverse movement,
stocking of products. , services and information between the beginning (suppliers) and the end
(consumers) to meet and satisfy the requirements of customers, thereby enhancing
competitive advantage.
3. Objectives
3.1 About knowledge:
- Understand the concept of Logistics, the importance of Logistics management in meeting
the needs of customers, improving competitive advantages;
- Know how to take the necessary steps to plan and implement the activities related to the
company's logistics management activities;
- Understand the main tasks for specific logistics activities: distribution, transportation, stock
control, storage, packaging, purchasing, application of information technology to Logistics
including RFID system and ERP;
- Know the issues that need attention, grasp when testing & evaluating the capacity for
Logistics activities through KPI (Key Performance Indicators).
