With this exit strategy we are going to use the most recent areas of
support and resistance.

Looking at the screenshot above we see both the long and short entries
highlighted, with the blue lines and the red lines indicating where the
support and resistance points are.

The first trade (number 1) is a long entry and the stop-loss order would
be placed at the support areas where the red lines have been drawn on
the price chart. The strategy here is to keep moving the stop-loss order
up to the new support areas as the price makes a pull-back before
continuing on its upward journey. The first move would have reduced
the risk associated with the trade and the next move would have locked
in some profit. The last move would have locked in 300+ pips – an
extremely rewarding trade compared to the initial risks.

The second trade (number 2) is a short entry, and at the moment this
trade is just slightly in a negative position, but this is it still a very
favourable trade and the stop-loss order is in an excellent place of
resistance (red line).

This style of trading (of using this exit strategy) can produce some really
big winners at times. The trick is to keep it tight when the market is in a
period of consolidation (non-trending) and then ride the market when a
strong trend is in place.

My teaching style is a little back-to-front from that considered normal, as

the actual entry is the last part in my sequence of importance.
