Initial Summary

Format for questions – MCQ

Genres of questions – Science, History, Geography, General Knowledge,

Number of questions (current)- Approximately 500 in each genre

Across all genres, the questions covered a variety of topics be it related to concepts from the school
curriculum or from outside it. The Science questions had the highest percentage of topics covered in
school curriculum be it from biology, chemistry, physics or maths. Yet there was a good percentage
that also covered adjacent matters that would have required additional personal research from the
student’s end. Questions in History and Geography were mostly based on topics that students would
not come across in schools. This may be due to the low percentage of India-centric questions present
in it. This also means that by default these had a higher base difficulty as compared to the Science
questions. The Geography section in particular was quite extensive and had an impressively fair
percentage of questions covering all continents. History is slightly skewed towards European,
American and Asian history. However as these are topics that students would also be more familiar
with, the History section is not as difficult as the Geogrpahy section.

The General Knowledge section covered every other topic that could not be slotted in these.
Effectively this has made it a wildcard section as its accessibility completely depends on how well
read a student would be or whether their personal interests are catered to. Due to the nature of this
section, additional effort may be required to perfectly balance it, which would prove to be a task.
Aside from that however, the varying question bank of this section makes it the most fun and
refreshing section to attempt.

Overall, the quality of the questions has been good. There is a good selection of easy, hard and
medium difficulty questions. They were mostly well framed while some could use minor editing to
improve their flow. Some spelling mistakes were present and were corrected wherever found.
Alarmingly, some questions had marked an incorrect option as the correct one, but was corrected as
per the source link provided. These were extremely rare but should not have been present at all.
