Concept X Education

Primary 1 (Mathematics)

Course Description

The course includes understanding numbers, solving addition, subtraction, multiplication and
division problems within 100. Moreover, it includes getting the knowledge for shapes, length and
halves and quarters in fractions, money and time. It aims to develop the knowledge of
Mathematics, thinking and problem-solving skills.

Teaching Hours
120 hours per year (about 3 hours per weeks)

Course Requirements

Lectures : Lectures will cover most lessons from both the Learner’s books and the Activity
books. Lectured lessons will be counted as classwork, along with homework in grading.

Attendance : Attendance of each student is compulsory.

Homework : Homework will be given according to the lessons.

Mini-test : Mini-tests are taken at the end of each unit.

Exam : There will not be a bimonthly exam for Primary 1.
