Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyuum
O the Living and the Eternal.

Yaa man taquumus-samaawaatu wal ardlu bi amrihii
O Lord, Who created the heavens and the earth with His command.

‫ﺎﺟﺎِﻣﻊ اﻟﻤﺨﻠﻮﻗﺎِت ﺗﺤﺖ ﻟﻄِﻔِﻪ وﻗﻬ?ﺮِە‬x
Yaa jamiamial makhluqaati tahta luthfihii waqahrihi
O Lord Who brings together all creatures under His tenderness. The
Subduer.

I ask thee Allah, to submit to me the ruhaniyyah of this glorious verse

tu'iinuniy ‘alaa qodloo’i hawaa-ijiy
Appoint for me help to fulfill my every wish

ُ‫ﺄُﺧُﺬُە ﺳَﻨٌﺔ َوَﻻَﻧْﻮم‬F‫ﺎَﻣْﻦ َﻻَﺗ‬xَ

Yaa man laa ta-khudzuhuu sinatuw-walaa nauwm (Quran 2:255)
Neither drowsiness overtakes Him [Allah] nor sleep.

Ihdinaa ilal haqqi wa ilaa tariiqim mustaqiim
Guide us to the truth and to the right path

So it is far from blemish

Rِِ
Laa ilaaha illa anta subhaanaka inniy kuntum-minazh-zhaalimiin
(Quran 21:87)
There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of
the wrongdoers.

Yaa man lahuu maa fis-samaawaati wamaa fil ardli man dzalladhiy
yashfa’u ‘indahuu illaa bi-idznih (Quran 2:255)
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the
earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?

Allahuma ishfali war-shudniy fiimaa uriidu min qadlaa-i hawaa-ijiy, wa

O Allah intercede for me, and guide my intention, what I need [from
my wants], and set my words, and determine my deeds.

Yaa man ya'lamu maa bayna aydiihim wamaa kholfahum walaa
yuhiithuuna bi-shai-im min ‘ìlmih (Quran 2:255)
He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they
encompass not a thing of His knowledge

O Almighty God in His authority

Except for what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the
earth.

Sakkhirliy ‘abdaka Kandiyaas, hatta yukallimaniy fii haali yaqzhati
wayu'iinuniy fiy jamii’i hawaijiy
Subject your servant [King] Kandiyas for me, so that he can talk to me
in a state of wakefulness and help and help me in the achievement of
all my needs.

‫ﻟَﻌ]ﱡ‬F‫ﻈُﻬَﻤﺎ َوُ|َﻮ ا‬r‫ﺎَﻣْﻦ َوَﻻ َﻳُﺆوُدُە ِﺣْﻔ‬xَ

Yaa man walaa yauuduhuu hifzhuhumaa wahuwal’aliyyul’azhiim
[Quran 2:255]
and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the
Most Great.

Bi alfi alfi laa hawla walaa quwwata illaa billaahil ‘aliyyil‘ azhiim
By the count of a thousand thousand [i.e. 1 million], there is no power
but the power of Allah the Most High and the Most Great.

Aqsamtu ‘alaika ayyuhas-sayyid al-kandiyaas
I command you, O Sayyid Kandiyas

 Ajibnii anta wa khudaamuka wa a’iinuniy fii jami’i umuuriy
Answer me and all your helpers and [appoint] help [for] me in all my
affairs and needs

Wa Bihaqqi hazdhi al ayat al azhema, Bihaqqi maa ta'taqiduunahuu
minal azomati wal kibriyaa-i
By the right of this majestic verse and by the right of [..] with the
blessing of the great verse
